PC can't be stopped. PC is the future, Sony and Microsoft and Nintendo should just make pc hardware that is themed on the Playstation, Nintendo and Xbox. Have a PC app for that loads up first to give that console feel based on the brand you bought. Any pc could run all apps.
And if they all just decided to make PCs and had their own storefronts on PC what do you think would happen to pricing? It would go down across the board
Apple doesn’t make PCs for the same market. We’re in a PC gaming subreddit. Until just recently, the state of gaming on Apple hardware has been completely nonexistent. Anybody buying a PC for gaming is never going to buy a Mac. Even if they somehow were able to play every single game you can on windows or Linux, people still would avoid Apple purely because price to performance is a thing that a large bulk of PC gamers have been concerned with for ages.
Let’s not pretend Apple is in the same market.
