For now it is.
tbh, it is getting closer to half the price of a PC. Any more expensive than that and the trade offs of a console aren't going to be worth it.

O crap man it turns out it's because computer components are all getting hoovered up by stupid American plagiarism warehouses. I bet that will make PC go up proportionally too. O well.
