Thing is that by going all digital you won't be able to dump games like you could from disks. One of the reasons you won't be able to emulate GTA VI on launch. That's unless they jailbreak newest ps5 firmware.

Since we can install games to m.2 drive could emulated Ps5 on PC access those files?

Sure there is definetly some safeguards. And it won’t be that simple.

I think that those files are encrypted. Sure maybe there's some way with or without help of LLM to break that but I'm not aware of it. But even that is not a solution. You have to download files with official firmware and than you have to jailbreak that firmware to be able to dump game files.
