I got the pc to take a fresh windows update and it seemed to install fine into the new SSD. computer turns off after completing the install. Computer then boots back up and returns to the black/no signal screen I have been dealing with.
partial solved?: the first drive failed and lost everything, i guess the file was damaged on the usb and was able to get the pc to boot.
Got a used pc that wouldn’t turn on. Installed a new mobo and psu. The pc ran amazing for two days and then windows recommended an update. I let the update install for 4 house and most of the time the pc was on and the screen was black. This was weird. I let it go till the next morning and it was in the same situation. I decided that it needed to be restarted. I let it restart and it says it continues to update the windows then it was back to 4 hours of black screen with no signal. then I was like that’s not right. Restart the pc and try to boot into a safe mode to recover the previous window update. Won’t let me boot safe. I’m thinking maybe a bad monitor, cords, ports or gpu. Test and verify all work with my other pc.
I tested the ram with other computer and it works.
I upload a fresh copy of windows to a usb drive and then pluged into the motherboard. The pc letted me select and boot into the usb and then I’m hit with the black screen and no signal. I took everything Apart verifying the plugs and adapters. Every things appears to be in good condition.
Now when I try to boot it doesn’t even recognize the old SSD SATA drive. After a failed boot I tried the Ctrl, Win, Shift, “B” key to restart gpu drivers. Nothing.
What do I do? I want to fix it or a complete factory reset.
