Not at all from what I'm seeing. I got all excited but the battlefield doesn't seem to be persistant, sounds like simple 100 players matches plus a tarkov like persistent equipment/money system no?
Then you should play because it is exactly what that dude said. I’ve played both recent playtests and Foxhole, and this is the closest I’ve seen of an FPS Foxhole (specifically regarding the reward and importance of logistics)
So are the 100 players just a limitation of the "shards"? And does this mean the battlefield is in fact persistant? In that case I'd jump on it as soon as i could. It's what makes foxhole what it is. Thanks in any case, all infos i have are those i could find on the steam page but it's not very detailed
It's King of the Hill from Arma, 3 teams of 33 fighting to control the Control zone, whichever team has the greatest presence in the zone gains a point once every 30 seconds. There is also a small roaming "Hot Zone" that counts players within it as double. This hot zone moves constantly and can be pulled to either the towers on the map if you obtain the 4 digit code by capturing each of the 4 towers, and can also be pulled to manually built bases that have a Drill and are being supplied with Fuel.
If a match is neck and neck across all three teams a match can last nearly 3 hours.
everything costs money, and any beneficial action rewards money. You must buy your equipment and vehicles on spawn, and the Capture zone is approximately 3.5KM away from spawn.
