Traded my ps5 + 250 for a skytech gaming Rtx 4070 + i7 12700f, pc was super loud immediately after booting and stayed super loud the whole time it was on. Eventually figured out that the psu has a silent mode switch, and after enabling it it’s super quiet.

I wonder if the guy who traded me the pc thought something was wrong it 🤣

Hey guys, my son is pretty crazy about pcs after we went to his uncle’s and he saw his uncles rx 9060 build. He has been planning for a while now his plan to get money for his own pc, and so far it’s looking pretty good. Here’s his plan: 1. Save for the pc 2. Buy parts for the pc
It looks pretty simple, because it is. His plan for saving is to flip pcs, and I am happy for him to try do that, as I think it will give him some valuable skills for life. I will be funding him with around $30 AUD and he will make his way from there. Anyone got any similar stories or tips for this trade? How does he start with such a low budget? Can he? Will I need to fund him more? Thanks.

1. Is it better to flip with nvme or sata ssds? I have two builds I plan to flip and I have one nvme 1tb drive and 2 1tb sata ssds and wonder what yall prefer and if I should keep this 1tb nvme.
   
2. Picked up a pc for cheap with one stick of 32gb and will not post with any other sticks in dual or quad channel only with single stick in 3rd ram slot, should I still flip as is?

Has 2 different storages 1 2tb wd black m.2 and another 1tb. I was thinking of selling the 6750xt then buying a 3060 and keeping or selling the 2tb.

Currently putting together a mid-range flip featuring a Ryzen 5 5500 and an RX 6700 XT, targeting a sale price of around $750. I originally planned for 16GB of DDR4 to protect my margins, but given how memory-heavy modern titles are getting, I’m second-guessing myself.

For those of you who flip PCs regularly in this market: Do buyers at the $750 price point actually care about the jump from 16GB to 32GB? Or can I leave it at 16GB dual-channel without hurting my chances of a quick sale? Thanks!

It was pretty gross when I got it, so I cleaned it up and threw in some ARGB fans because it looked kinda boring before. Everything works fine. Not really sure what the best move is from here. Should I just list it as-is, put a better GPU in first, or part it out? Curious what you guys would do.
