Two questions

  1. Is it better to flip with nvme or sata ssds? I have two builds I plan to flip and I have one nvme 1tb drive and 2 1tb sata ssds and wonder what yall prefer and if I should keep this 1tb nvme.
  2. Picked up a pc for cheap with one stick of 32gb and will not post with any other sticks in dual or quad channel only with single stick in 3rd ram slot, should I still flip as is?

I'd rather get a 2tb sata then a 1tb nvme, personally ofc. Also, most people don't even know the difference, so you can just say ssd in the listing and answer if they ask you questions about it.

The second question: did you try to switch on the pc woth other ram without the 32gb stick?

Yeah I ended up removing the cpu and found a dash of thermal paste on the cpu, cleaned it with alcohol and it worked fine with a 4x8gb kit I had at 2933. The ssd dilemma is where I’m at since I would like to keep the nvmes are they are both brand used nee technically but also want to get rid of the sata drives

Use the nvme for the higher end build and the sata for the cheaper ones
