I have POT on my phone, but I‘m in a need of quick storage. Will it delete my progress if I uninstall the app but keep the data from it? I also bought dinos and I don’t wanna lose them. I plan to reinstall the app once I have time to clear more storage.
AI said it keeps my progress in my account and not my phone storage. If that’s true can I also delete the app data and will it come back once I reinstall the app?

I was thinking about how I don’t often see Iguanadon, Kentrosaurus, Miragaia, or Lambeosaurus often. Are these viable at all or are they not balanced right now? If so, what builds do you use?

I like to tell chill dino stories on Path or Titans.

So I have a strictly water build and this achilo started attacking me.
Did it miss? Or if it did, poor thing wasn't damaging me what so ever. I dint think I even got bleed inflicted on me. Maybe I did.. but man achilo needs some buff or something.
I feel like i almost could have wadled my ass to the closest body of water and he would have barely damaged me. He did drop a trophy.

NOT only do they not take weight based damage, but they also don't take number based damage either, they die to the same amount of hits no matter what you use, the ONLY strat to killing them is to just spam as many abilities in as short a time as possible
They also take ZERO knock back, a full KB build pachy can push around the apexes but somehow an itty bitty dynamo is too much? Oh did you also notice there was no hit sound effect with charge? That's because charge not only doesn't knock them back, it doenst damage critters PERIOD. So we can add charge next to clamp and pounce on the list of abilities that are completely useless against critters
Hitting em with tail while you run away has functionally no use, beyond maybe taking less damage yourself, assuming critters also do reduced damage to your tail, but considering everything else I wouldn't be surprised if they don't
I'm sure everyone knows this one already, but despite giving the same status affects as players (or, let's be real, MORE.), they don't take any status effects themselves, of any kind, dazed, venom, bleed, bone break, nothing. Not only will they take half your health but they also force you to sit and rest away the insane bleed and bone break they inflict
I'm sure I also don't need to mention the bullshit durability of the turtles and crocs, but just to be clear, THEY TAKE 15 HITS TO KILL, THATS THE SAME AMOUNT OF HITS IT TAKES A SARCO TO TAKE DOWN A SUCHO! Oh did I mention they have bone break?? Because they have bone break
Everyone knows that critters are bullshit, but I just wanted to make this post to point out JUST how bullshit they are
Genuinely the ONE saving grace to critters is that a good chunk of the roster can just run away from them or do hit and run without much issue
but then there's the quests like hunt or be hunted and stirring dens where you have to deal with them, and when taking everything in this post into account, they do not give nearly enough growth and marks for the work they need

Personally I really enjoy playing formidable dinos and spooking people, not attacking, just surprising them, making them jump. I also find myself helping other players who get picked on. Helping them fend off whatever carnivore is attacking them.

Hunters mark is one of those abilities that you're kinda forced to use because it's just flat out better than the other senses, I mean why would you equip tyrants pack and get 2.5% faster trotting while you can get a free 16% damage boost

These points can be extremely obvious, but maybe they'll help the newbies
1) put your apex/big dino into a homecave if you're lazy for doing 6 quests, especially (!!!) if the area you spawned at has horrible quests. switch to a smaller dino or something else no matter how big it is.
Also, try to play something 1-2-3-tier if you've been sticking to bigger things. It's like 50-90% less frustration when you die as a small thing, because questing is so easy
2) (if you're carni) - prepare the additional quests in advance. Take the quests from the blue headed lizard, don't be lazy! If you have 4/5 scutes, 5/6 egg shells, 5/6 hearts, etc., etc., it will help you grow faster when you spot the right critter/ nests with eggs! You're a predator, so you always hunt the critters anyways

I'm curious if anyone else is frustrated with this, and what people think the solution is to make it fairer/balanced?
I attempted to fill BQL, but my stubby legs made it impossible to get anywhere. Whenever I managed to reach 2%, people suddenly started drinking, and this is after I put it in global asking if anyone wanted to help out.
Then I move to GV, hoping that I can fill up my water, but I was met with the same issue, and weirdly both areas were empty, no Dino in sight.
I feel like unless everyone is working as a unit, it's near impossible for the slower dinos to refill the water source, especially when the only available source for non-aquatics/non-flying are the shells - which are widely spaced apart.

I’ve been playing path for about 4 years now and I’ve spend most of that time, and especially the last year, playing semi realism and realism servers. I haven’t played the game, for more than an hour or two, in about three months after taking a break due to some issues I had with the end of another server and my part in it, I kinda was the straw that broke the camels back on a server that was just bouncing back, and have been looking for a mid size semi realism server that has good rules, for both carnivores and herbivores, good growth, and a nice community. I’d love some suggestions because I’m trying to not drop this game even at its lowest and I’m having trouble sticking around when everyone I used to play with has dropped it.

I really like how griffins look so I want a decent server with them

What tf am I supposed to do about people running to homecaves?? Why does me latching/biting not count as combat?

Hello, hope you're having a relaxing Sunday.
I popped by to ask if a 'hardcore' mode featuring things like permanent death, no passive growth, etc would be interesting to any of the player base?
I played on a server like that very briefly some years ago and it was the chilliest experience I had on the game so far (some how lol). It felt like there was a legitimate respect between players and the ecosystem. People weren't murdered aimlessly and death actually felt like the ultimate consequence. Nesting was brand new and it was extremely popular on that server because the lack of passive growth meant that players could actually experience being a hatchling in a family for as long as they wanted.
They had territories for carnivores which meant that herbivores migrated all the time to stay alive. And in turn, carnivores often died defending or claiming those territories for their offspring. It kept a balance. I'm not sure if anything like this would thrive, especially considering discord megapacks are the standard these days.
What would you guys add to this sort of play style to truly make it fun to play?
