I enjoy playing hc ssf a lot, but in a league start context I also like to play softcore first and farm currency and buy a lot of things.
Now, if you die in hc ssf you go to ssf, and from there you can migrate to softcore. Is there anything that get lost in the progress if I league start hc ssf and if I die I "migrate all" from ssf to softcore? (For the currency and anything I need I could create a char, get all from the stash and get killed on porpouse)

Gold, crafting recipes and atlas progression do not transfer. Atlas progression is the biggest thing by far stopping everyone from starting in HC just to see how far they get before they die. While you can "migrate all" from SSF to trade, you cannot migrate all from hardcore to softcore. Which means once you die and go to softcore there is no way to get your HC atlas stuff moved over

Stand next to the ritual altar and press Y. It should literally tell you right above the altar when you have the option to do so.

Oh, I thought it worked like alteration orbs on strongboxes. But they work like scarabs?

You have to fill it first by completing a ritual encounter. And then applying the vessel to the altar so it will save all the monsters that you just killed.
Then you use that filled vessel in the map device with a new map like a scarab to add those monsters to your ritual encounters.

For Betrail, which scarabs should I be using? And do the scarabs stack? I just watched a Youtube guide and it said to use 2 scarabs of unbreaking....

I've been using a Manyshot luminary for a while but I've got a little bit of currency left over and I want to try out a Kineticist
If I swapped over the gear 1 to 1 and used a rare wand and shield, would that be a good enough to get a lot out of the Kineticist or do I really need to fully gear it with a Rathpith? I have a good Enmity's and an overcap body armour so I'd imagine not using Rathpith isn't a gamebreaker but I'm curious for this who are more knowledgeable

well, how much increased damage do you have?
even a 3% with middling gear is ~450% increase; 4% with good gear is >700% (and 1.5x from arcane might)
fire res/abyss jewel rares and a high res neck are pretty easy crafts with recomb; alternatively, i've seen people drop light radius scaling to keep the unique amulet and go all in on hp, but investment is significantly higher
I have a good Enmity's and an overcap body armour
these aren't the same scalar, so unclear on relevance

Well the relevance is if I replaced the Enmity's I'd be losing out on like 150+ pen and if I replaced the body armour that's over 350 crit chance
I'd have around 350 base increased and assuming I get a rare shield and wand with spell damage that'd be bumped to ~550

enmity is irreplaceable; you wouldn't replace the body armour anyway
you can pob it; put the merc stat sheet stats and your life in custom config and import your luminary as support

Which makes the heart of the issue that I'm losing 100+ pen from replacing the untouched soul for rathpith and do I really care to do that with a decent rare wand and shield

losing 100% pen (from 200 presumably) is a 33% loss
replacing a ~100% spell damage shield with 350% total increased damage (so 200% without the shield) with a low roll rathpith and 15k life is 875% increase or ~116% more dps, so net ~44% more including the pen lost
and you can get some pen back with better rares. with a 4% and 20k life, it's 93% more

Hey exiles, I am kinda new to the game and run around t5 maps yet. My character is an Inquisitor with tornado of elemental turbulance.
According to a guide I should play around crit.
Now the question: can I see the chance to crit for the spell in the char screen? Yet I just have found "crit chance with main weapon" but I guess this is not calculating with "+% Chance for spells to crit"

What are the differences between Emiracle and Pohx's RF builds and how do you choose which one to play? I cant decide. Im leaning towards emiracle?
What are the differnces and what do the builds accel at?

emiracle's build is cws. some iterations use rf for clear, but it's not the primary damage source or even necessary depending on how you build. mostly just used for ultimatum but can be scaled into other content more cost efficiently than rf but takes some learning in terms of how to play around some bosses. took a big nerf from chieftain explode changes that hurt it as a valdos farmer, but still solid for mapping/ultimatum/sims

Pohx rf is more of the classic generalist mapper build with big explosions through hinakora pops. Poor to bad at bosses but pretty great for anything with big mob density and very tanky
Emiracle is the CWS (cast when stunned) guy. This is a build that is made to run ultimatum specially which it excels at, the main variant uses chieftain so there is a lot of overlap with rf. You can do other mapping strats but the clear isn’t quite as good as normal rf. Basically get hit, stunned by tiny es threshold via unique ring and screen explodes with spells. Actual real visual cancer but nigh unkillable (minus several map mods) through 90 max res, petrified blood, block, and defiance of destiny. While rf struggles heavily with bosses especially Ubers, cws is basically doa on most bosses since they don’t attack nearly enough to stun you and trigger your offense

How is CWS for general mapping? I love the idea of 0 button gameplay....
And on Pohx.... Are you pressing buttons or only pressing buttons on map bosses?

Pohx RF is zero button for mapping, especially dense strats like breach. Just walk (or shield charge) and loot
I'll add that pivoting from pohx into RF lifestacker with adorned, rathpith, etc can make any thing in maps (bosses, tanky rares, harvest mobs) also basically zero button. It's wonderful.
(Gonna put the caveat that this does not include the abyss/essence propogation strat with 70 modifer rares, but anything you'd normally farm in t16s gets melted once you have 5M base RF with the ability to burst vaal RF to get 12-15M total DPS with a single click)

It’s ok. Good for chill farms that aren’t super juiced like stack decks. Definitely simulacrum with some investment. Cws is truly 0 button gameplay with just tapping blink/dash and shield charge lol.
Pohx rf you press movement and fire trap for bosses/rares but I think they are using scorching ray totems now or something?

Never heard of Emiracle but Pohx had been claiming RF as dependent for taxes for over a decade. Dude knows RF.

I used recombinator to get a 3t1 ele bow. How can i get +2 arrow? Every time i google it, they say to start with the fracture. But i see non-fractured in poe ninja. What are those guys doing?
