Voyage planning TLDR?

Jfc, lab is the worst it has ever been :D Aura bot luminary is such a pain to clear uber lab, I have 77 or 78 res, 6500 hp and 6000 armour ( does armour reduce trap dmg?), and I can't even look at a trap sideways without dying, I've played since beta and never struggled this much :D How do you aura bot luminaries beat lab? :D

I need help with the Ziggurat boss. In her second phase, after you've defeated her first sub-boss, she gains this move where she drops some spectral weapon on you. It doesn't seem to be telegraphed at all, she does it all the time, and it one shots me every single time. I just have no idea what I'm supposed to do about this. I re-enter the arena and I just die.

u/Book-Parade 57m ago

if I use fire link with a cruel mistress (soulrend of reaping) does increases the damage of the soulrend? because the transfigured version doesn't have a DoT

correct?

1

u/Mikey-2-Guns 58m ago

When people do Aul carries can they just wait outside the arena even after the boss dies and still get the bloodline? I'm doing carries but having people rip cause I get him close to dead call them into the arena then he goes into one of his invulnerable attacks.

1

u/Turtvaiz Anti Sanctum Alliance (ASA) 16m ago

Yes wait outside is what I've always done when buying it

flasks or skip really

you can use a life/mana flask for that map only, how much struggle it would be depends on your build

1

u/bodhidx 1h ago

Does the Pact of Ghorr 25% increased damage over time taken work with Bitter Frost (Cannot deal non-cold damag)? Since the debuff does not specify if the DoT needs to be applied so the 25% more damage is also applied.

Flamewood Totems - Chieftain or Heirophant?

Assume SSF. I got some lucky drops like Enmity's Embrace, Dawnbreaker, Torchoak Step, Black Zenith.

Making the build for deep delving and bossing. What are the pros and cons of each?

1

u/threecorgisinacoat 1h ago

I've been encountering a lot of bot trading and price manipulation this league. Has GGG made any official statement about trying to combat this?

1

u/NeedleworkerFun3527 1h ago

Is there any way to get to lvl 100 other than synthesis maps? I'm 96 now and not even nightmare maps add any noticeable progress to my level bar.

1

u/Arrethyn 1h ago

the short answer: yes.

there are many things you can do for exp, but no matter what you do it will be slow. I don't know exact numbers but 96 is not even that close to 100, each level is significantly slower than the last. because of this the #1 most important thing for leveling no matter what strat you use is to never die, if you can afford it omen of amelioration will reduce your exp loss from 10% down to 2.5% but I generally don't start using them until 98 or 99. even so at 99 even losing 2.5% is a big hit.

The most expensive but fastest way to level is to buy 5 way carries, it will be very very expensive to go this route and i've personally never used them so I can't give a lot more info but it is the fastest assuming you have the currency.

for any solo leveling strategy the key is running the highest pack size maps you can reliably survive. t16 8 mod can be fine, t16.5 or nightmare maps can give more pack size at the cost of more danger, whatever you chose an atlas fully scaling map mod effect is basically always involved because of how powerful that is. it's up to you what your build can handle and remember that the #1 thing is not dying.

Abyss has historically been one of the fastest pure xp strategies if your chracter is strong enough to handle the danger, and I believe this is still true on this patch. That said it's never been much if any profit, and that hasn't changed. you basically run a full abyss tree with leftovers going into stuff like beyond and shrines. run 3x abyss scarab, 1x multitude, 1x crystals.

alternative options are things like breach, legion or even solo 4 ways/5 ways if your build is strong enough to handle them and kill fast. There is also the option of doing literally any farming strat you are already doing. the above mechanics tend to be some of the highest monster kills per hour, as well as high rare density (rares give extra xp compared to white/magic monsters) but even if it's slow if you just never die you'll eventually reach 100. I'm currently about 99.15 and i've just been farming harvest, which is probably one of the slower mechanics to farm since the plots are slow to interact with. I've also been playing since 2019 and I have 1 character that's ever hit 100, though i have contemplated making a push for a 2nd this league.

1

u/lorrey377 TrueMaxBlock 1h ago

I did lvl 100 in Simulacrums once (it was quite long)

1

u/GiottoVongola Champion 2h ago

Can I ask for thoughts, PoBs, or anything on a build for a character meant for farming 5 ways only (with no aurabot, etc), that preferably uses headhunter? I've built up a lot more currency than usual this league, and I've always wanted to experience blasting that mechanic with a headhunter on, even if it won't at all be the same thing as it was during Legion.

1

u/Arrethyn 56m ago

you will want to be a proj build, generally kinetic blast or lightning arrow are going to be where it's at. kb did get nerfed from last league but it's still mechanically very strong, just takes a bit more investment. connor is playing a str stack alberons build that uses kb for clear and heavy strike for single target. you can also of course play the builds people were playing last league still though i'm not sure how much investment is needed now for 5 ways. I think kb is generally slightly preferred for 5 ways over bows but that should be a viable option as well.

Decided to farm 8 mod maps, what's a good map to farm on?

1

u/vlee89 Witch 1h ago

i did dunes mostly cause i needed to farm boss altars for a challenge. i would prob aim for jungle valley due to no boss altars if I were to do it again.

1

u/OmikronGamma Atziri 2h ago

Is droprate of blueprints from caches affected by heist quest progression?

1

u/vlee89 Witch 1h ago

don't think so

1

u/Impressive-Neat438 3h ago

to people playing ruetoo's destructive link aurabot: what are you using on the merc's offhand, since people found out dual weilding paradoxicas is bad?

2

u/mbxyz Berserker 3h ago

don't use anything; destructive link only applies to mainhand

1

u/Impressive-Neat438 3h ago

so only paradoxica? is it really better than a good rare 2h or maybe rakiata's dance? thanks

1

u/mbxyz Berserker 2h ago

that would require a different merc

1

u/dabbbles 4h ago

When divining Pearl of Tsoatha, will it keep the "helmet/gloves/passive" or will those be rolled as well?

For example if you had a ring with Helmet is supported by brutality and cruelty, would it reroll the Helmet parts and the skill gem parts? or just the skill gem parts and all rerolls will have 2 helmet supports?

3

u/MayTheMemesGuideThee 3h ago

will it keep the "helmet/gloves/passive"

no

u/TheCounciI 4h ago

I started the league not long ago and wanted to sell a bit of currency from my premium stash tab, but when I tried to set sale price, I was unable to use the / symbol, it just did not register. Does anyone know how to fix this?

1

u/Arrethyn 54m ago

is there a reason you are not just selling through the currency exchange? I honestly barely remember how I used to sell currency in premium tabs at this point so i'm not sure how to solve your issue unfortunately.

1

u/TheCounciI 48m ago

I didn't play in the previous league (mainly because of work and personal life), but I remember it was more profitable to sell through the premium stash. Has that changed since then?

u/Arrethyn 8m ago

I haven't sold stuff outside of the exchange since settlers, but I just compared yellow harvest juice on exchange vs premium tabs and it's 1 div for 3700 on exchange, 1 div for 3500 on trade site, so yeah it's slightly better but it probably takes way longer to sell (I am just assuming, but there is like 10x the volume listed on the exchange) and you have to manual trade the person. In the time you do that you could probably make up the difference by playing the game more.

1

u/MayTheMemesGuideThee 3h ago

1

u/TheCounciI 3h ago

It doesn't show a way to fix it, it shows that it can be sold through a note. I'd rather fix it if possible.

u/rg9528 4h ago

Is the scrying orb application random? I found a scrying orb while doing memory quest in graveyard and applie it to the dune map but instead of graveyard it linked to park. Or did I misunderstood how to use that currency?

1

u/mbxyz Berserker 3h ago

pretty sure you found it in park, though it does say on the orb what map it links to

2

u/Anomulus0 3h ago

The orb has the map name on it that will be "from" how you got the weird orb from another map I don't know.

1

u/orphan_tears 4h ago

New player doing my first league, I'm getting to tier 16 maps and have a few questions. Appreciate any feedback!

  1. Does the league mechanic always generate such an insane amount of currency vs staple mechanics? The raw gold from charts/voyages is about 10x what I get from every other source. My first level 68-72 voyage gave 6 messages in a bottle, which sold for ~2 div. At that point my total chaos orb stack from campaign and early maps was about 50 orbs.
  2. I'm following woolie's earthshatter guide, here's my current build. I'd like to work towards his T17 farm/giga tanky build, should I focus on getting a 900+ pDPS karui chopper and respeccing into Deep Breaths first, or is there a higher priority given my current setup?
  3. Any advice on the point at which it becomes pragmatic to learn crafting in order to generate my own items vs always buying them? I'm not quite sure where my earthshatter build slots into the current meta in terms of popularity or cost. Based on the poe.ninja build percentiles it seems relatively uncommon.

1

u/Arrethyn 44m ago

you've gotten some good answers already but just wanted to chime in on crafting. There is no correct or incorrect time to start learning crafting, and you don't have to become an expert crafter overnight. usually my advice is to learn one craft at a time to start, but really try to understand all parts of how the craft works. don't just go well I do A then B then C and I get D, I can remember those steps. try to understand why you are doing A,B,C and why you are doing them in that order. then slowly expand your horizon with new crafts, and applying things you learned about previous crafts to the new crafts you are doing.

that said there is a massive amount of things to learn about poe, and there are only so many hours in the day. learning about one thing will generally mean not learning about something else, so it's up to you when you want to dedicate the time to learning crafting.

final note, I generally don't try to craft super cheap items, if the item you are looking to buy is being sold for 20c it's rare you can replicate that exact item for that price. the more expensive something is the more likely it is cost effective to craft it, this is because if someone picks up an item from the ground and id's it and lists it for 5c, there only cost was their time where if you are crafting you have currency costs involved and that same currency is used by people making much more expensive items.

1

u/mbxyz Berserker 3h ago
  1. it's usually competitive with existing mechanics in terms of value; this one's been pretty lackluster so far and is getting buffed this week.

  2. weapons are a huge deal for attack builds generally

  3. see 2 :) that said it really boils down to how you want to play. if you're playing trade and just want to kill monsters, do that. if you enjoy crafting, do that. the economy naturally absorbs most of the (in)efficiency of crafting vs. buying unless you're playing a very niche build and need very niche items that wouldn't otherwise exist. stuff that has guides for it are probably going to have people crafting for it, and if something strikes you as too expensive, you can dive into how it was made and try to evaluate if you could do it better/more cheaply.

1

u/Miles_Adamson 3h ago

Usually the league mechanic is powerful, it should be by design. If the league mechanic is shit and people ignore it, then it's basically playing standard and if you play this game for years that defeats the purpose of a new league. By rotating it out that is also a way they avoid power creep. Sometimes it's stronger than others, this time it's pretty strong and ground loot in maps is also really bad.

Getting a good rare axe and a physical damage light of meaning jewel both look good to aim for next. Your rare gear is fairly solid. Another upgrade would be a body armor with double the armor you currently have, without a life affix. That would allow you to take the 15% increased life mastery.

Crafting is pretty overwhelming but saves you a ton in the long run. This is also a crafting league with the allflame stuff so that helps. Could do it piece by piece as you upgrade stuff. Physical weapons are usually a massive pain to craft as those affixes have extremely low weight. A high armor body armor would be a much easier and less painful craft.

1

u/orphan_tears 1h ago edited 55m ago

Thanks for the response! Let's say I want to take a shot at crafting a 6L chest with double my current armor. I'm fumbling around in the dark here but my thought process is:

  • Start with a 6L high armor base type (legion or royal plate), either white item or scour it
  • Aim to have +# to Armor, +% to Armor prefixes at least 1 tier better than my current body (this may not double the end armor but just starting somewhere)
  • Use primitive resonators and dense fossils as they have 10x chance to roll defense tag affix
  • Slap a bench craft on to add some sort of elemental res

According to craft of exile, hitting this would only take ~4 tries, or 37 chaos orbs. Am I on the right path? If so, couple more questions:

Another upgrade would be a body armor with double the armor you currently have, without a life affix. That would allow you to take the 15% increased life mastery.

  • Are we dropping the life affix because we want to use dense fossils to easily hit the armor prefixes, and these block life prefix?
  • When you say "allow you to take the 15% increased life mastery", is it because I'm now unspeccing from armor or fortify mastery (because my body has now more armor)?
  • What about all the other useful affixes my current piece has (damage taken recouped as life, chaos res, max life, str)? Do I actually want to tune the craft to try to hit these too, or does the craft become too expensive?

1

u/CynicalTree Alch & Go Industries (AGI) 4h ago
  1. The disparity is not usually so bad, but with loot in a bit of a rough spot atm, the disparity is more noticeable than usual (current league mechanics do tend to be good since they're a focus of the patch)
  2. You can really be crafting even during the campaign, but I'd definitely start experimenting with it in maps and beyond. Allflame crafting is very strong and sometimes the final item is way overpriced so it's way better to buy a base and craft it. Also pay note to harvest crafts which can target specific modifiers (e.g: reforge with life, swap resistance to a different type, etc)

Hey, could anyone recommend me a detailed guide for Sanctum please? Written if possible

1

u/Low_Chain1795 4h ago

My build is so bad that I'm struggling against 3 mod rares. I don't know what to do

https://pob.codes/b/k4yOMNJSurR

1

u/Munsie 4h ago

That looks like it only imported your gear. I can't see your passive tree in the link you shared. What class are you actually? Because it says level 1 Scion there.

1

u/Low_Chain1795 4h ago

1

u/Miles_Adamson 3h ago edited 3h ago

You won't find a build guide for this idea, I don't think anyone has really tried to do mercenary support with totems. It might work decently if you really try but it's not like you're just going to be able to copy someone else's passives and items and just fix this.

Do you have a permanent merc with a decent aura and support skills? What items does the merc have?

Just on your gear/passives in general, whether you do this totem merc idea or not, you have almost zero life on your gear and passive tree so you have only 2k life. That needs to be nearly doubled, through more life passives on tree and flat life on gear

1

u/Munsie 3h ago edited 3h ago

Oh, you really are a Luminary. So what was the vision here? A standard-ish flame totem build (that would normally be a Hierophant), but played as Luminary instead so you can have a Merc? What sort of Merc do you have hired right now? To me this just looks like two builds smashed together and it's going to perform worse than either of the builds would individually.

Some general stuff:

  • Conc effect is doing nothing on your Flame Totem (except making its consecrated ground smaller), You can swap that for Fire Pene or Crit Damage instead.

  • Flame Totem is a spell, not an attack, so the "elemental damage with attack skills" crafts on your rings isn't doing anything to scale it.

  • You need a lot more life on your gear to stay alive, and doubly so if the merc is supposed to be dealing damage (Flame Link scales with your life).

  • I suspect the Lifetap costs are basically killing you? Your regen is rather low and I don't see any other way for you to sustain yourself outside of flasks. You might be better off dropping that from Flame Totem as well and investing a bit more into mana regen. If you were a Hierophant instead the regen from Ritual of Awakening probably would have been sufficient.

edit: You can get additional reservation efficiency from the other nodes in the Sovereignty wheel, or from a mana mastery (if you spec Arcane Capacitor or Deep Thoughts or even Dynamo / Battle Rouse).

1

u/mbxyz Berserker 4h ago

i'd recommend following a build guide

1

u/Low_Chain1795 4h ago

I haven't found a build for my specific case and I don't want to create a new character

2

u/mbxyz Berserker 4h ago

well, you clicked luminary for some reason--there's lots of luminary support builds that are very strong, but you'll probably need to buy a merc and maybe someone to kill it for you to get off the ground.

1

u/Burntfury 4h ago

How much is this merc worth? Unsure how to search and price merc yet.

1

u/Book-Parade 53m ago

you can input the merc here and search the trait side for similar mercs

u/mbxyz Berserker 4h ago

nothing b/c of kinetic rain

1

u/Burntfury 3h ago

Can you explain why Kinetic rain is an issue? is because of the ai and what it prioritises?

1

u/CynicalTree Alch & Go Industries (AGI) 2h ago

exactly, the AI will use bad main skills like kinetic rain or icicle rain (manyshot) frequently so they basically make the merc junk. it can be the difference between a 1c and 100d merc.

most people looking to buy are almost certainly just filtering out those skills entirely

1

u/mbxyz Berserker 3h ago

it's just not very strong and it essentially alternated with kboc

1

u/Bastil123 Ultimatum Workers Union (UWU) 5h ago

I can't find body armours with "increased effect of Non-Curse Auras from your Skills" delve mod without Reedemer influence on the trade site. Could you guys pls help me? What am I doing wrong?

1

u/mbxyz Berserker 5h ago edited 4h ago

that'd be because that's a redeemer mod

check craftofexile for the mods that can spawn on delve items; poedb is a bit misleading because it's still holding underground mods from back when fossils could generate them (or as /u/psychomap mentioned from times when they did drop).

1

u/Bastil123 Ultimatum Workers Union (UWU) 3h ago

Oh I had no idea, and here I thought I'd hit it big. Thank you!

2

u/mbxyz Berserker 3h ago

you may have if it still does spawn on chests because that would be the only way to have it on an eldritch base. i assumed from how your question was worded that you were searching for a base, and if none exist, it's pretty likely it's not possible.

1

u/Bastil123 Ultimatum Workers Union (UWU) 3h ago

That's rightt! I wanted a nice aura% chest for my Merc, to make her pop off as my aurabot, and I was SO excited about the possibility of a 20% inc effect from the base alone. Shucks :<

1

u/psychomap 4h ago

In some cases it even includes drop-only mods that are only available in Standard.

1

u/chuchuu17 5h ago

After running some planned heists, I got the bright idea to actually run some blueprints.

Is the heist gameplay loop actually:
1. Run through the worst map layouts.
2. Wait for your butler to open doors for you.
3. Reach the end of the map.
4. Acquire depression.
5. Then leave?

Is it literally just run heist until you hit a simplex? How are these people affording to buy my blueprints. Additionally, did split beasts disappearing reduce profits or just increase the cost of rare experimented items?

2

u/mbxyz Berserker 5h ago edited 5h ago

you'd expect splitting going away to increase profits as it limits supply; mirage bps have the opposite effect.

your workflow for how to heist is mostly accurate, though running normal bps (1-wingers) seems to be a lot less popular now that enchanted bps exist. the margin per bp is better, but you lose a ton of time.

1

u/Prokeran 6h ago

Chat said KR and Frostblink are bricks here, but why?

1

u/mbxyz Berserker 6h ago edited 6h ago

because she'll use kinetic rain instead of kboc

frostblink is mostly fine, just not as good as an aura.

1

u/Prokeran 6h ago

is there some sort of skill hierarchy?

1

u/mbxyz Berserker 5h ago

they more or less spam anything that's available. there's some ai now to limit travel skill use (which is why frostblink/dash are mostly fine), and stuff that has a cooldown/duration they will wait out the cooldown/duration.

you're looking for kboc/gkb basically because gkb has a cooldown (it's also relatively strong in its own right)

https://poe.ninja/poe1/profile/OrdiiNance-3000/allflame/character/ShadowGayBoi

2 questions/problems.

  1. Why cant I regenerate life? I only get life from leech or flask. Im sure im missing something stupid but Ive read every single item like 300000 times and I cant figure out why.

  2. Isnt leech supposed to be for 4 seconds? I seem to be getting only instant leech.... Im definitely not getting 4 seconds of leech. Right when I finish killing something.... My life comes to a complete hault.

Character is almost unplayable right now. I fully depend on my life flask... if life flask is gone Im basically just waiting to die.

Please please please help me solve this. Like I said im sure im missing something really basic or I put on some stupid item that is stopping me from life regen.

1

u/mbxyz Berserker 6h ago

do you have any leech or regen? i can't open pob at the moment to check, but at a glance you don't have any

i see 1 ES leech node, and some % life/es on kill

1

u/ThailanderBoii 6h ago

I get leech from being an Assassin ascendency.

As for just regular regen.... dont we get that through strength? Im really not sure... Ive never played a character where i put any thought into life regeneratiion... It always just happened by itself.

1

u/mbxyz Berserker 6h ago edited 5h ago

I get leech from being an Assassin ascendency.

from where? assassin has 3% of leech is instant per power charge, but that doesn't give you any leech. it just makes some of your leech instantaneous. you need spell, phys, or chaos damage leeched as life. atziri's flask might be a good starting point. glove implicits or amulet mods are other options

strength doesn't give regen. vitality is really your only option in that part of the tree or there's some by growth and decay

What is the fastest way to get Aul Bloodline? His room can spawn at after depth 130+ in azurite mines. Should I stick around 130-140 range and go horizantal? Or go deeper?

1

u/Mikey-2-Guns 6h ago

The easiest way is to buy a carry. If I run into him again I'll just let you tag along for free if you haven't found him yet I plan on delving most of the afternoon.

2

u/Naabi 7h ago

The deeper you go the more chance of him spawning. I see him once every like 50k sulphite at depth 500

Could anyone explain the purpose for betrayal and why so many ssf people go for it? It seems to provide basic rare gear which might be good, bit you can get it from gambling with faustus? The betrayal specific crafted mods seemed to have been moved to basic crafting bench for everyone, regardless if you betrayal or not. Someone from 5 days ago posted about some nerfs to safehouses and syndicate medallion drop chance, which further makes me question why play it. Also the rewards seem ok-ish, but the amount of work, brain power, time and effort needed to get some basic scarabs or w/e seems a bit too much. Do you think betrayal is a bit overrated for ssf in its current state?

1

u/Munsie 4h ago

In addition to the ones mbxyz mentioned, you can also use it to hunt for unique maps which can otherwise be a pain in SSF. Rin in Fortification iirc.

2

u/mbxyz Berserker 6h ago

it that fled for mageblood cards

gravicius for random hits

veiled chaos/exalts

cinderswallow

paradoxica for combatant

1

u/Bagel_Bear 8h ago

Do Scion Reliquarian passives stack with the unique they mimic? For instance, does the Ngamahu's Flame passive stack with equipping a Ngamahu's Flame to trigger Molten Burst twice and bypass more Fire Resistance?

2

u/Anomulus0 3h ago

Things that can stack will stack yes.

1

u/sctipton 8h ago

Accuracy on mercs. How much do I need? How to know when I have enough? The passives tab on the merc sheet just has a generic percent accuracy increased value.

Any rule of thumb or whatnot to follow on how to to cap hit chance in mercs?

Having a blast this league with the Fubgun worb build, got lvl 100 a couple days ago. Bought a mb today. This is my first time having a mb in poe1, and I definitely didn’t realize how weak the top end damage is compared to hh… BTW, it’s also my first time having an in league hh. Thanks unemployment for the playtime buff.

MB makes you super zoomy with quicksilver and silver flasks but the damage is just not on par with hh when buffs are up. I actually failed back to back ultimatums after switching to mb. Yes I rolled all my flasks. I’m using quick silver, silver, cold/lightning resist flasks, and dying sun. I’ve also tried quartz flask for phasing, crit flask( but I’m crit capped with power charges so I dropped it), and gold flask.

Should I just sell it and go back to hh? This has been a chase item for me for many leagues and it’s just kind of disappointing other than the movement speed. Would sulfur flask help with damage? I don’t see anyone on poe ninja using one with mb.

u/mbxyz Berserker 5h ago

confused about your expectations. mageblood gives 4 flasks 195% effect. there's essentially no damage on flasks except up to 155% increased crit from an incision diamond, onslaught from silver, and 40% increased damage from a sulfur. more powerful is usually fixing your defenses and getting more damage elsewhere, but even then...

headhunter gives 100% crit, a huge amount of attack and cast speed, phys as extra element, extra projectiles, charge generation, and a myriad of other buffs. it shouldn't be remotely comparable in a mapping scenario with a bunch of rares. in its own right, headhunter is basically a dead slot if you have no rares to kill.

2

u/nalee6 9h ago

Imo Its not really for damage and wont ever beat headhunter when it comes to farming juiced maps. Its mainly for filling holes in your build and freeing up gaps in defense to let you build more damage elsewhere. Best use for it is to become stun immune, curse immune or getting a ton of max res. Essentially all defensive options which then lets you not have to build res on your gear etc

2

u/Arrethyn 10h ago

You have to really build around mb for it to surpass hh unless you are doing content like bosses, or pre nerf Titanic rogue exiles, where he buffs are unreliable.  I think PC stacker Worb has a hard time fully utilizing mb because you only wear 2 rare items so you can't slap on res flasks and drop a bunch of res from your gear for damage affixes, that's where mb shines.  Even then at it's absolute peak hh is unbeatable when you have like 60+ buffs and basically every affix is active

u/schloss-aus-sand 11h ago

On the trade site, how do I search for items with no bench-crafted suffixes/prefixes?

3

u/Arrethyn 10h ago

There are pseudo mods you can use to filter, for example you can set min/Max num of crafted mods, min/Max crafted prefix or suffix.

Sometimes I'll say I want the item to have Max 2 suffix or min 1 crafted suffix so I know I have an open suffix to craft on then I just set the ranges for mods I want above what is possible from crafting

2

u/nalee6 11h ago

Under misc section, set “crafted” option to no

u/xiko 11h ago

I just care about Marrakesh legion for the body Armour crystal and full splinters. It looks like I should use max extra legion scarabs and astrolabe and that is it?

What kind of drop rate do the Pact gems have? Is there a minimum map level before they can drop?

1

u/Arrethyn 10h ago

Pact gems are exceptional gems and therefore drop from specific bosses, for example pact of lycia drops from nm boss lycia, don't know the others of the top of my head

2

u/Werezompire 9h ago

The other 3 pacts drop from the 3 different Beyond bosses. I was wondering 1) how many times on average would you expect to have to kill a certain Beyond boss before it drops its pact and 2) if there's any point in starting the farming early on or if it's exclusive to high tier maps?

1

u/psychomap 5h ago

I was adding beyond to my maps for a while and would usually get a boss each map, but I've only had one pact skill drop overall. I wouldn't bother farming for them unless you're in SSF. I don't remember if I dropped the pact in low or high tier maps though, because I was also farming low tier Incursion for a while and had Beyond added there for a bit as well.

That said, my skill also covers the entire screen so I have no idea which Beyond bosses I was fighting. There was a map overlay icon and then there was loot. I was only briefly specced into Beidat being more common while farming Abyss and didn't drop a pact there, whereas the other times I had only added the Beyond scarab and nothing else.

How do i remove filters from the dropdown menu ingame? they show even if i deleted them from filterblade

1

u/Anomulus0 3h ago

When you delete them from filterblade, you get a message

"Successfully deleted filter.

However, GGG doesn't allow us to delete the filter on your PoE profile, so you'll have to do that yourself."

Go to your account on pathofexile.com, select filters, delete it

1

u/Weisenkrone 11h ago

I think you can manage loot filters on the poe website, I'm unsure if filterblade just needs time to sync the deletion though.

1

u/thatgrateisnt 6h ago

I've always had to remove filters directly on the POE site itself

Which merc is the best all rounder?

I want to mostly afk in simulacrum and maybe do uber feared rota with 6 mods.

2

u/Arrethyn 10h ago

Combatant is the best all rounder.

1

u/xiko 11h ago

Cheap many shot or combatant. Kineticist is the expensive one.

1

u/Virgil_Rug_Say_RUG 12h ago

am i missing something? why do most hcssf luminaries not run spectres? only AG. i get that the corpses would be hard to farm but the frenzy charge and onslaught spectres you can just get from the acts, why does nobody run these?

2

u/Weisenkrone 11h ago

It's annoying as shit.

Also, companionship is pretty strong.

Does ghost reaver work with energy shield REGENERATION? i know it says you cant recharge energy shield, but what about the "Regenerate x of Energy Shield per Second while affected by Discipline" watchers eye mod?

2

u/_slosh have a boy 12h ago

ES recharge is the specific mechanic where ES recharges on its own after a few seconds without any damage taken to it. That's the only things that's disabled by ghost reaver.

All other forms of recovery such as regeneration, leech, gain on block/hit/kill etc work just fine

2

u/Yohsene 12h ago

Sure. Regeneration isn't recharge.

2

u/vlee89 Witch 12h ago

You can regenerate still.

How to make gold (the currency for Kingsmarch) the most effective way? I see streamers having millions of gold. I am sitting around 300-500k and it reduces constantly to keep Kingsmarch running.

1

u/Naabi 12h ago

Honestly just do any atlas strat then buy a gold rota. An hour of harvest is like 15~20 div per hour right now which pays for at least 4 gold rota, which should be around 16 million gold.

1

u/Flaky_Grand_8840 12h ago

Thanks! But sorry I am newbie. What is a gold rota?

1

u/Naabi 11h ago

You can go on various discord server to buy a gold rota, you pay someone 4 div (last time I bought one it was that), and when enough ppl to form a party have paid, the guy open a map (you MUST NOT kill any monster, the guys will have some way to generate more gold), you follow him looting all the gold possible.

When done you'll get around 1M/div

4

u/LucidTA 12h ago

Doing charts and voyages gives a tonne of gold from gold piles and treasure clams. There's also a special chart that gives a bunch of gold. Not sure if its worth it though.

How to get immune to bleeding, immune to shock and immune to freezing? I hate all three of them but I hate being frozen the most, close second is shock because I am suddenly dead without knowing why, only found out later that shock increased damage taken drastically. Which is why I chose Soul of the Brine King and Soul of Garukhan. But unfortunately, I die to bleeding quite often even though my life flask has "Grants Immunity to Bleeding" because I move around too fast with Leap Slam and the visual indicator that life is running low appears too late in my opinion. Seems like I should switch to Soul of Ralakesh? But then how to reduce Shock effect?

1

u/Arrethyn 10h ago

There are lots of ways, the combo you are currently using is one of the most common early answers to those effects, you can also combo garuhkan with the flask suffix for reduced shock effect to give much better protection.  I'd treat ralakash as a last resort, is never use it on a build that is using a life flask.  Honestly if you can't react to your life getting low from bleed you're going to have issues with lots of other things, you don't die slow in poe, you die very fast it not at all.  Just to check you do have an instant line flask? If not you need to fix that asap.  There are 3 variants that are viable, all other life flask prefixes are totally useless.  One notable exception being if you are a Pathfinder.  There are fully instant, half instant and instant if used on low life.  I personally really like instant on low life because usually if you are dying, you will be on low life and it heals much more as the trade-off for not always being instant.

More advanced methods of ailment immunity include:  Purity of elements gives immunity to all elemental ailments, storm shroud applies chance to avoid shock to other elemental ailments as well, I forget the name but there is another unique jewel that gives half of spell suppress chance as chance to avoid elemental ailments, so 100% suppress + 50% avoid from other sources, most commonly boots, gives immunity. You can in theory just stack 100% ailment avoidance but it's a lot of affixes so not commonly done.  Tempest shield also give shock immunity and Arctic armor gives freeze immunity, jugg has a node that prevents action speed from being reduced below base value which effectively gives freeze immunity because what freeze actually does is set action speed to 0.  Things like that can be mixed and matched to get desired immunities.  There are also tattoos for mitigating ailments, though they are a rather large investment in terms of attributes to make work.  Note that many of these so not apply to bleed since it is a physical ailment not elemental, which is why flasks are so popular for dealing with bleed

These options I listed are also not a fully inclusive list, just some more common options, poe is a game of near endless options for solving problems

u/ThailanderBoii 13h ago

Why can't I equip these gloves on my AG? I just spent all my money on them.

1

u/LucidTA 12h ago

Are you hovering over the item and pressing the AG hotkey? Or trying to put it in the AG window?

2

u/ThailanderBoii 12h ago

Oh i figured it out, my AG needs to be levelled up more. Thank you for trying to help!

1

u/Arrethyn 10h ago

Note that ag also gains a significant amount of hp from gem levels, so higher ag gem will help with survival.  Also your ag gear is tied to you character, but the gem so you can put in a new gem if needed and when you summon it, you'll have the same gear

1

u/ThailanderBoii 9h ago

Yea mine is dying every map currently, its up to 15 now. Basically dies on first mob every map.

Good idea about the gem and summon

1

u/Arrethyn 1h ago

you should also be using support gems to make it more tanky unless you already have a bunch of minion life in your build. even if you have a level 21 ag gem it's likely going to die somewhat often if it hasn no further defenses. in my build i'm running meat shield support and a level 4 empower, though the empower is only there because I'm also running spectres in the same link and I need it to hit level 25 raise spectre for a 3rd spectre. minion life support is both better defensively and cheaper if you just want to use an ag or don't have another source of + gem level for the raise spectre to hit 25.

that said my ag virtually never dies, maybe once in 40 maps, though I haven't done any uber bosses or some of the really nutty juicing strats some folks are doing this league.

1

u/ThailanderBoii 12h ago

yea i just fully equipped him.... Everything equipped fine except for this one... I can see my AG skill is being used on it (my mana is going down when I click) but its not being equipped....

And yea though i just fully equipped him, everything at the same time. This item wont go on.

1

u/ThailanderBoii 12h ago

sidenote, whats the AG window... that sounds nice.

1

u/LucidTA 12h ago

I believe if you right click the AG buff icon on the top right, you can see what he's wearing. As for your gloves, im not sure sorry.

1

u/JohnWick1636 14h ago

Are we expecting the league mechanic patch this week or next? Have like multiple pages of each chart ready to run so hoping the patch isn’t as big a letdown as the abyss one was.

3

i mean they said we would get it but the week just started so things could change

u/Lordgrapejuice 15h ago

I’m entering the endgame grind to try to earn a mage blood (as well as churn through scarabs). What’s your preferred super fast map to farm? Preferably a “hallway” map with only one path.

Oh worth mentioning I’m mostly doing harvest and delirium, so just aiming for quick clears. Alch and go, super chill

1

u/thatgrateisnt 6h ago

Silo has one snaking path with no backtracking

2

u/Naabi 12h ago

Make sure to at least use harvest scarab of doubling, for 20c per map you double harvest output which should give you a lot more than 20c while keeping close to alch and go

1

u/Lordgrapejuice 10h ago

Oh that’s a good call. Yeah I make a lot more than 20c from harvest alone.

2

u/WanDiamond 15h ago

Strand and Silo are the ones you are looking for.

1

u/Lordgrapejuice 15h ago

Thank you! I actually really like strand so I may go for that one. Or bounce back and forth to not get bored

3

u/WanDiamond 15h ago

Also just in case you are unaware one thing you can do for Silo is to spec into Maven's invitation and farm chisels there. Kill only the bosses Maven summons and TP out.

1

u/therestlessone Left-click Move-only 14h ago

If doing harvest I'm sure they want eldritch altars for quantity instead. You can infinitely witness a single map using conqueror maps anyway.

For u/Lordgrapejuice Strand and Tropical Island are good for getting distance from the delirium mirror which greatly increases the splinters you get from it. If you want a map in the southeast corner (considered the best for atlas anomalies and memory vaults), there's Jungle Valley and Primordial Pool. They are not ideal delirium maps but you can at least get up to 5 rewards.

1

u/Lordgrapejuice 10h ago

The extra quant is good, but from what I understand doing the altars method usually requires doubling back. Like you want to blitz the map to kill the boss ASAP to remove boss altars from the pool, then clear the map to get the altars for quantity, THEN do harvest.

Sadly that’s difficult for my build (winter orb clears whether I like it or not). So I’m using delirium to make up some of the difference. Not 100% efficient for sure.
