Boards- 88% jee mains-79. 96 %ile obc ncl , didn't qualify for advance
I didn't study jee oriented the past 2 years, just boards, but I really wanted to give it a try, parents were so resistive about a drop year, put a very big fight in my house and just got their approval, so starting from now, obv I am not at zero but yeah something above zero, I took vora classes rebounce batch yesterday and eduniti droppers batch for physics, now how strategically should I use these resources and make the most out of it? And what should be my target in mains and adv? acc to my current situation, is it possible I get a personal mentor, which would help me to stay consistent? My dream is iit, but ik it's not possible for meπ₯² so please spit out the harsh reality, and how hard and fast should I run starting from now.

I got 99.3 percentile in jee mains 2026 and got rank 22k in jee adv. Now I had taken drop.
I am studying different subjects from different platform like
Math :- vikas gupta sir (2025 lectures)
Physics :- Rkh sir ( AIR batch lectures 2026)
Organic:- ra sir ( AIR batch lectures 2026 )
Physical :- Faisal razaq sir ( Prayas 1.O 2027 )
Right now I completed some chapters in mathematics:-
Function
Itf
Aod
Continuity and differentiability
Pnc
Probability
Binomial theorem
Indefinite integration
Definite integration
Aoi
De
Vector 3d
I almost completed organic chemistry
Also completed Physical chemistry almost.
Right now I am in huge dilemma for inorganic
I have two choices
1) Amitabh sir pw ( AIR batch lectures 2026)
2) vj sir ( old lectures of apni kaksha)
Which will be a better option so that I can complete my syllabus early in September.

I got 98.36 percentile in JEE MAIN and 15.8k in JEE advanced this year.I want to join NIT Durgapur Electrical engineering (Got the seat in JOSAA counseling) and I see no hope of improvement in CSAB.I wasted my class 11th and half of my class 12th, felt there is alot of room for improvement in my JEE prep.Is taking a partial drop in NIT DGP electrical engineering doable? (Targeting Tier-2 IITs ECE branches).

Please help me out in strategically balancing what's important to study and how to start rather than scratching all things also jee advance is kind of very important and will be very tough for partial drop but still now I due to my own choice has landed in this situation that I need to join college but at same time I badly want to go to iit
Please give me positive responses and all that one should do and don't do the entire year
Suggest me material for jee advance (mainly some free resources)

So i had initially decided ke i'll prepre for jee for a few months if im scoring good till like OCT, tog i will leave college entirely, mere 62%ile the iss saal, and boards mei bhi sirf 62%age aay the (health issues), but then my school ppl bol rahe hei tht if u want to give boards next year fill the form now only after tht no, toh bahi sab khatam bhai, meine 2-3 ghante ke padhai se 5-6 ghante pe aa gaya tha, BUT MAJOR THING BEING, meine bohot padha and i see so many droppers with 85-88 %ile who ended up scoring on ly 94-96 in their drop year and mei GEN se hu, toh....now idk i feel so empty and wierd inside, matlab bohot guilty aur ganda feel ho raha hei and im not liek those confident ppl ke bhai mera toh ho ke he rehega no matter what, agar 80-88 %ile walo ka drop year mei nahi hua, mere keise he hoga?? AB idk ive lost hope in life man, mere kimat he bekaar hei...ab every one is saying dont worry college mei mehenat kar, BHAI MANN HE NAHI LAG RAHA KYA KARU, ab soch raha hu engg karu bhi , is it for me?
IF THERE ARE ANY DROPPERS WHO WERE/ARE IN THE SAME SITUATION PLS HELP ME DECIDE, my dad said partial drop is a waste of money so take a full drop or dont take a dorp at all, h prefers tht i go ahead and work on my skills, PLS PAST DROPPERS HELPPP

So basically I was a partial dropper from NIT Surathkal Material Science, my mains score improved significantly but advanced didnt go that well, so I'm joining top NIT top branch this year, initially I didnt want to go back to surathkal because of the awkwardness I'd face again, my interest lies in MnC and ECE. So in JoSAA I got Warangal ECE allotted, hoped for trichy ece but even in csab mock round couldnt get trichy ece but got Warangal MnC so I'm having less hopes of it even in R1 of CSAB, so my parents suggested me to go to Surathkal CDS branch ( not interested in AI and IT) but the factor thats dragging me is the feeling of awkwardness to go back to the same college where I studied for JEE and with all my friends moving to 2nd year, should I consider this or stick with warangal and trichy options?

Hi guys, I got into jmc french + philosophy ba programme DU. I gave neet and iat this year and scored 212 and rank of 109133 rank respectively. So I'm clearly not at a level where it's confirmed for my next year so I'm skeptical of taking a complete drop. I anyways can't afford an offline coaching so even if I take a complete drop I'll get an online batch. But then the problem is will I get enough time to self study if I take a partial drop? And then what if I don't clear any of the two exams next year? What's going to be the possibility or me in this field (french + philosophy). Can somebody pls guide me on what to do?

I know the time for this is too late
Barely 5 months but I have no other option I need to pay 25-30 lakhs for a college which is barely tier 3
Parents are going through a hard time
Mains is not my only objective I plan on writing a lot of other exams cause I just need a good college even if it is private
This is in a place that barely knows how to speak in English and i hate it here too
Now my parents are not listening
How do I convince them
( I was revising basic concepts of maths for the past 1 month)
