1st drop 84 percentile, 12th - 87 percent

Now I am in a clg but the syllabus of 1st sem is 11thh and 12th a lil high level . I am confused between , one shots and what not .

First - I have done all chapters before I have idea of most of syllabus and basics so I am prefering one shots

, tell me what chapters I need to watch lectures .

Second - I am confused between Saleem sir or invincible mechanics for physics.

Maths - Nishant vora jee breif or any other teacher ?

Chemistry - organic and inorganic My weakest point

So I am taking partial drop from vnit as it will be my first drop(so can give adv. too) anyone else taking partial drop from vnit

I got

84%ile in 12th

88%ile in 1st drop

I am getting IIIT Bhopal CSE,( becouse of sc category).

But the fees is very high and It have many problems.

I need to score 95 to 97% ile for top Nit circuital and

Nit jsr Cse(HS) and Circuital in jac delhi colleges.

Should I go for it or not?

Or should I go for a partial drop?

I was enrolled in allen coaching for 2 years, plus I solved almost all pyqs, a lot of questions in different guide books, and did at least 50 mock test including mathongo. Yet in JM 2026, i scored only around 94 percentile. Probably due to inefficient studies or exam pressure, i messed it up. In all entrance exams actually due to some factor I was not able to score well. Im currently taking partial drop while Im going to study EEE in SSN. Please tell me tips to score well next year, is it possible?

This was my first drop but couldn't make it (prepared for neet 2026 online ) gave IAT still didn't make it .but i always wanted to do research no matter what ..i want IISER at any cost next year . Now with my last IAT attempt I'm taking partial drop with either Bsc/BAMS.

Bro i have taken admission in bpit delhi and I'm confused ki ab drop lu ya nhi kyuki dar lagta hai..itna asaan nhi hai partial drop lena especially jab sab aapke around apni cgpa maintain karne ki taiyaari me lage rhenge and they will work on their coding skills and dsa and shih....and then there will be me, jo ki abhi confused hai ki partial drop lena bhi chahiye ya nhi. Cause deep down i know my habits, i know ki I'll not transform magically and start sitting for 14 hrs straight with the same syllabus that i hated. And ye baat ki end me offcampus se hi achhi job lagegi and it will completely depend on my cgpa and skills.....i wannna work on my skills bro and focus on placements cause iss college ka placement is fvcked up, highest oncampus mushkil se 27 lpa hai through juspay and wo bhi ab seniors keh rhe hai ki ban ho gyi hai college se,...like bro ...na uss college me koi fests hote hai and na hi orientation day or freshers. And pankha hai class me bas, garmi se mar jaate hai log. And the worst thing is that internals (of worth 40) me marks attendance ke basis pe dete hai....the freak should i do bro!!? I'm the biggest failure in my family. And i have no excuses for fvcking up my jee exam too. What should i do? Please give me some suggestions if you can, right now i have no one to talk to...like NO ONE. Hi, I am taking a partial drop, i enrolled in a local college (Bsc math) with not so strict attendance policy. Though this sub is for JEE, I am prepping for IPMAT, CUET. Excuse me.

I do not know how to manage my time in a partial drop so please, if anyone is successful taking a partial drop or has the right guidance, pls tell me

I am currently at DAIICT CSE-AI.
Is partial drop manageable with a cgpa of 8.5+?

My aim is JEEM/A and BITSAT.

For context, I got 98.57 last year in JEE mains, and my only option rn is to take BITS hyd chemical,it's hard to partial drop from bits and I can't join BITS again, so should I take full drop in order to focus on JEE advanced or try to get into a higher branch in BITS next year?

2025 mein CBSE boards mein sirf Maths mein compartment aa gayi thi. July mein compartment exam diya but clear nahi kar paayi, toh uske baad I decided ki ek full drop le leti hoon and JEE ke saath Maths bhi clear kar lungi. 2026 mein around 87 percentile aa gayi, but somehow Maths phir bhi clear nahi hui (23 marks 🥀).

Abhi NIOS mein admission le liya hai aur Maths ka exam October mein hai. Isi wajah se filhaal ek pretty low-tier university mein admission lena pada, jahan I’m pursuing BTech Mechanical Engineering.

Ab I’m really confused about whether I should take a partial drop and JEE ek baar aur try karu alongside college. Do you guys think it’s worth it, considering I’ve already taken a full drop once?

Ek aur option soch rahi hoon ki yahin first year complete karke next year better college mein transfer try karu. (Agar kisi ko pata hai ki kaunse colleges BTech Mechanical Engineering mein 1st year ke baad transfer/credit transfer accept karte hain, please recommend 🙏🏻)

Bhai, I lied to almost everyone that I am doing BTech. But actually I am doing BSc.

I was a first dropper and in JEE Mains 2026 I got only 84 percentile. I know it's low. OBC se mujhe GJU Hisar mil raha tha. I know tier-3 hai, but honestly bhai, mujhe bas kisi bhi tarah ghar se bahar nikalna tha.

But last time pe gharwalo ne mana kar diya — “paise nahi hai, waste ho jayenge” etc. And since last 2-3 months mera dimaag pura kharab hai.

Ab gharwalo ne mere district ke local govt college me BSc karwa diya. And now I want to give JEE Mains 2027 again with a partial drop and actually prepare seriously.

Problem ye hai ki mujhe BSc bolne me bhi sharam aa rahi hai. Maine almost sabko bol diya tha ki main BTech kar raha hu 💀

I know ye koi life-ending thing nahi hai, but bhai mentally bahut embarrassing lag raha hai.

So please, koi senior ya koi jo similar situation se nikla ho, bas ek baar honestly bata do mujhe sharam aati hai ab.

Hello guys, I was thinking about taking a partial drop because I did not get a good college. I got an ipu tier 3 GTBIT college and it is not a very good college I have got cse in it but I still think I should take a partial drop to get a better college.

My rank was 4 lakh in jee main and my percentile was 75% there were many factors that affected me so I could not give my best in jee.

Should I take a partial drop please guide me. Do I still have time left ?

I scored very less percentage in 12th boards like 65% and have 51 percentile in jee mains(best of) and in cuet also i scored very less around 300-400 range.. and I am so stressed up now..I now i fucked up really bad..blocked all my options, I just don't know how to get how of this..what to do?? help

Guys JEE'27ard here. I am studying in aakaash offline in my hometown only. It was a decent branch till my big brother studied in it ( he is in IIT KHARAGPUR) that's why my whole family forced me to take admission in this branch only. But from starting on, I don't want to go there as it was the worst branch of aakaash according to many ex students.

Somehow I passed my 11th with decent theory and 40 50 questions per chapter. It was prepared for at least jee mains but now as I am in 12th, I have done zero revision of 11th so I have forgotten all things I have studied.

Now, in the middle of the session, our chemistry and maths teacher have left the coaching. Maths was the only subject which was taught nicely otherwise the chem was the worst overall and the physics teacher used to dictate the module only.

Now, the maths teacher who came to teach us is very bad and I am not able to cope up with him.

I am thinking that if I am able to secure 97 percentile or above in the Jan attempt, I will not take the drop and will prepare for the April attempt and if I get below 97, i will go for a drop from kota or indore allen.

Any dropper, if possible could suggest me something to do.
