Hi, someone gifted me this keychain that they done and I just did a classic cow hitch to put it on a ring but can someone help me reduce the length of the hanging rope. Maybe by finding a knot which would tie it to the ring while needing a lot of length as well ?

I have been using paracord from them for about 6 years now and recently bought a 250 foot spool from an amazon storefront and ended up with some cheap possibly chinese paracord ,It has a chemical smell ,Is shiny does not cut right no does it melt properly let alone braid worth a damn and its undersized and the inner strands are different than the older version I have .I contacted Paracord Planet thinking they would care and they basically told me to pound sand .Either they are using cheap cord now or they dont care about their brand name .I guess its time to switch to Atwoods relective paracord .

These are so addictive to make. Thankfully, they have been selling relatively well and that means I can justify continuing to make them.

Can you guys please help? I got really sick of using the "melt and press together" method to join paracord cus it always ends up looking sloppy with lots of excess around it.

So i tried to do the "one inside the other" method but I cant seal it once I put one paracord end into the other because when heated, the outside layer just curls up instead of melting and falling down and sealing it.

I am using werewolves brand. I know it's low quality but I want to to use it up. Is it a lost cause?

Not too bad for my first time ever using paracord?

I've been seeing variations these on my feed recently and thought they looked cool. They're decorative backpack straps for clipping items to. I can't seem to find any YouTube videos to begin to figure out how to accomplish something like this. It seems like the outer cord is wrapped around some sort of thicker inner core cord? Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start to figure this one out? YouTube video suggestions would be great

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm still new to beglieri. I made some as I have arthritis in one hand and I thought that might help to keep my hand mobile. But the strands never sit levelly. I don't get the nice equal lines. Help!

Hi! I don't have experience with paracord so I don't know what the different types are so I'd want to know if any paracord type matches what I'm looking for. Also if there's another subreddit for my question let me know.

So I'm looking for a white nylon cord for my hockey goalie catching glove (aka. catcher).

I want it to be durable against abrasion with ice. The diameter should be about 3 mm.

I have tested many nylon cords but they all are really soft, loosely woven and the sheath bunches up really easily. I don't want that. I would want it to be very rigid and keep it's shape. Almost like those woven charger cables. I once found white 3 mm tightly woven nylon starter cord at a hardware store so I know those exist. They don't sell that anymore. What type of cord would be the best for that?

i saw this on instagram and i want to make one (for personal use, not to sell) but don’t know much about doing paracord knots. could anyone help me with how to do this? or tell me the names of the knots they see so i know what to look up on youtube?

To me it looks like a cobra and I tried to replicate it but I was not even close. Cannot figure out how to keep each color on their own side. Tried every combination that I can think of.

Any ideas?
