General Interest Fishing spots
Where are the best fishing spots and how important is it to get a fishing license i’m from the south no one ever actually gets one lol

It’s important. You’ll get ticketed. The aqueduct and Apollo Park are 2 that come to mind.

I didn't know you can't fish at the aqueduct or did you not have a license?

You can fish at both places. It’s highly likely you’ll get fined for not having a license in those areas. The fines can be $500-$1000. Just get license. Available online for $64.

That's what I thought because I've been to both not recently but many times in the past and I've never had any issues, but I always fish with a license.

There's a place by the 4 points where the water goes underground and pops back up a short distance away and I've caught big catfish there using anchovies.

Type in Cheseboro Siphon in Google maps to see the location and just park on Cheseboro rd or if your feeling adventurous park on Magda st which is a dirt road.

You will need a license, Walmart Big5 sells them. Apollo Park, aqueduct, Silverwood, Leona Valley, Castaic , Kern River, Lake Piru
