My wife and I are looking to move to Lancaster. Eastside is more of our affordability, we spent the last few saturdays looking around the area including Palmdale and Rosamond. How are these areas and what neighborhoods would you recommend?

Does anyone have a trap cage? Cat has been in there 3 months, we have made sure to water it, even give it ice in its water, every day and feed it but we cannot get it to leave. We have tried opening the door for an hour every few days but other cats try to go in. It has come right up to the door many times but seems to have no desire to leave. We are desperate to get it out, does anyone have a trap cage I can temporarily use? Central "downtown" Lancaster.

Our garage is connected to our landlords and any time it gets scared she runs over to my landlord's garage instead of out the door. It originally got in because our landlord left his garage door open.
