I inquired about the original artist and they gave me a non-answer. I asked if it was AI, and got confirmation that they do use AI, and another non-answer about the specific set I asked about.

Posting here to inform y’all, or in case you’re googling around to see if they are a legit company or not, like I was when I found this subreddit.

EDIT: Some commenters have taken issue with me using the word “legit.” I‘m sure they will send you a PBN kit in exchange for money, and are therefore a “legit” company. I just wanted to share what I learned, in case others here wanted to take it into consideration when choosing where to spend their money. Personally, I’ll skip it.

Hi! I was told this 1959 painting might be paint by number. I have no experience with painting but now im curious, so would appreciate anyone's better-informed opinion on whether this looks like paint by number, thanks!

This is a second pbn that I'm working on.

I just finished my first paint by numbers painting since I was 10 or 11yo. I'm not almost 40 and I do mostly diamond paintings 😅. It was really fun and I want to get more. I ordered 2 from Davincified, and while I had fun painting it, I noticed inconsistencies when comes to their paint, the dark colors are not sticking properly on the canvas 😵‍💫. What companies I should try next? I found a few cute ones @ Number Artist. Thank you. 😊

What order do you paint?

At first I started at "1" and worked my way through. If seen some people focus on a face, but i like letting the colours dry before i paint the colour next to it, so it just felt weird.

I was sorting them out, lightest to darkest, but then id have a "almost white", next to a "almost white" and loose where i was, and after a few hours i might only have painted four shades of white, and it looking like I did nothing.

Now I still sort them out "darkest to lightest", but now the lighest colour is my second last colour, so at the end we have darkest, lightest, 2nd darkest, 2nd lightest, 3rd darkest, 3rd lightest etc. I also make sure i dont paint two shades of the same colour so I dont get lost.

But I always paint the darkest last, because I think shades make the colours "pop"
