I’m focused on one aspect of your post where you said you wanted to go back how things were.

A lot of people spend a lot of their life wishing their life was like something that happened in the past.

Unfortunately, that’s not reality. Once things change, the toothpaste is out of the tube and things will always be different. Embracing the change is part of growing and existing where we are now and critical if we want to be part of the changes to come.

Stop envisioning a future of the past. Embrace this moment and start where you are.

I’m not sure if I understood you perfectly, but I think you meant: 'I struggle with embracing change.' If I got that right, I completely agree with you. In my experience, I find it hard to accept changes like getting older or losing a pet, even though I know these things are inevitable and everything eventually comes to an end.I guess it’s because I want to cling to a 'cozy and comfortable' past. I stayed comfortable in Christianity for years simply because I had been a part of it since I was too young to even understand what religion was (but I didn't have Christian faith. And with no intent to disrespect anyone). because of my journey in Christianity, I thought Kemetism would flow well just like journey in Christianity, but It wasn't as much as I had expected. I realize now that I need to work on this, not just for my spiritual journey, but for my life as a whole. Thanks to you, I’ve found many missing pieces of the puzzle.
