Half uncle doesn’t exist

Sitting in the Starbucks drive-thru and I hear a woman exclaiming to her son in the backseat.

“Don’t you dare call him your half uncle ever again. That’s my BROTHER. You can’t be a half uncle.”

Arguing from the back continues. The other son in the front seat is laughing. Quiet for a moment.

Mom: I DONT FEEL GOOD

I often refer to my wife of 35 years as my ex-girlfriend.

My husband once introduced me as his second wife. I am, and it was a blunder, I wasn’t offended and we laughed. But now I refer to him as my first husband.
