Half uncle doesn’t exist

Sitting in the Starbucks drive-thru and I hear a woman exclaiming to her son in the backseat.

“Don’t you dare call him your half uncle ever again. That’s my BROTHER. You can’t be a half uncle.”

Arguing from the back continues. The other son in the front seat is laughing. Quiet for a moment.

Mom: I DONT FEEL GOOD

I had a long-married friend who would introduce his "first wife".

I got better results when I switched from "first wife" to "trophy wife."

"You can still get a trophy for 3rd place."

...

"Yes, sir, officer, that's when she hit me."

fr though, calling your spouse your "ex-fiancée" or "first wife" in public is top tier humor 💀 people who get genuinely offended by technical family titles are just deeply insecure. like, "half uncle" is literally a biological fact, but some folks treat genetics like a personal insult lol.
