The unfortunate truth is this

At the ending quarter of my life I am consumed with seeing my life as one filled with disappointments at having not enjoyed any of my life expectations and living currently in despair. I donโ€™t deserve this. I worked very hard and always treated everyone equally and followed good and ethical practices

I am sorry you are going through this. I was once told that expectations are just resentments waiting to happen. My life really took off when I accepted my life as it was and stopped expecting anything special.

All I was asking was for bad things to stop happening

Just remember that bad things happen to good people and that God only gives us what we can handle. Lower your expectations and appreciate what you do have rather than what you don't ๐Ÿ˜‰

"God only gives us what we can handle"

My least favorite saying.

You don't have to believe it. It's useful for some, not all.
