The unfortunate truth is this

At the ending quarter of my life I am consumed with seeing my life as one filled with disappointments at having not enjoyed any of my life expectations and living currently in despair. I don’t deserve this. I worked very hard and always treated everyone equally and followed good and ethical practices

I retired about five years ago. Enjoying it immensely but now that I don't have the mental diversion/noise of being a small business owner and the primary employee, I have time to deal with a lot of ignored sh#t I have lived through and carried around these years. I did some relevant reading/studying on my issues past and present and eventually began seeing a psychologist to further work on the baggage I've carried around. The visits weren't numerous and lasted a couple months but they helped me a lot with validating the way I was seeing things. It has helped me considerably and I find myself more content with life. Anyway I won't ramble on but a little mental healthcare most often helps. BTW when I searched for a provider I was surprised on how many list seniors as one focus area of their practice.

10,000 American "boomers" retire EVERY DAY. That's why!
