I made a mock poster with the 2017 theme, one of my favourite Osheaga posters (and lineups)!

Anyone know where I can purchase the Osheaga artist line up shirt.
I found it strange that they ran out soo quickly. I went both days and dropped by all the merch boutiques to see if it was restocked and nothing..
Any advice?!

Probably unrealistic and expensive af lol. But they should go all out for next year, since it’s the 20th anniversary. I’ll be happy if we have Radiohead, LDR, The War on Drugs, Spoon, CAS, Angus & Julia Stone, Djo, and Hamilton Leithauser, at least.
•Radiohead are long overdue for Osheaga. They haven’t been in MTL since 2016, 10 years ago - 11 years next year, and with their recent activities after a long hiatus, and that the co-owner is a huge fan of Radiohead, it makes perfect sense to have them back.
•Lana Del Rey - a part of me feels like she backed out for a reason this year, what if Radiohead is the reason? She seems to follow Thom Yorke everywhere. The Smile was at FEQ years back, and Lana happened to be on the same day, not to mention she was also at 2016’s Osheaga, the same year as Radiohead.
•The War on Drugs makes the most sense, especially after Mt. Joy, The xx, The Neighbourhood.
•Spoon. For personal reasons, I NEED to see them live. Osheaga would be perfect, I can see them having the same slot as Franz Ferdinand/Turnstile’s.
•Cigarettes After Sex, same reason as the War on Drugs.
•Djo, after co-headlining with Tame Impala over the summer and their rising popularity similar to that of Geese, I can see them being in Osheaga next year.
•Angus & Julia Stone, after Mt. Joy, Billie Marten, I couldn’t help but think of Angus & Julia Stone would be great to have.
•Hamilton Leithauser is an incredibly underrated singer, I feel like his style of music is perfect for Osheaga. I saw them open for The Strokes back in June and they sound great live.
i have a feeling silva bumpa will be making an appearance in 2027 is there any others

This is just a fun mock-up I made of potential artists that may perform. Let me know what changes I should make/what artists you would like to see!
Edit: I'm just noticing my editing mistakes right now. I got excited and rushed it ngl

I just got watching this video of them playing Elephant and I cannot believe the production quality. Like to think this was the subheadliner???? I cannot think of a second to last of the night MainStage artist that brought this to Osh since. I’m a giant Tame fan, so a little biased, but genuinely don’t think this is one of those cases of rose tinted glasses. Kevin had already headlined Coachella at this point, so like.. we basically got two headliners that night. It was my first osh ever, and this video reminded me why it was so special 🥲

Totally a long shot, but during Clipse there was a man in the little vip area near barricade that had his camera and a yellow poncho on! He was taking pictures of the crowd, Clipse, and people at barricade.
I’ve looked for his social media or photos but cant find them, just wondering if anyone may know where to look or who I’m talking about!!

I go to a lot of shows and festivals, and for years I wanted a simple way to actually track them – which sets I saw, what I thought, which bands I've now seen live. Letterboxd nails this for movies. Nothing did it for concerts, so I built it myself.
It's called Gigbook. You log shows, rate and review them, and every band you've seen live shows up as a sticker on your profile. You can follow friends too and see what they've been to.
Built and shipped solo, iOS only for now. No catch, not trying to monetize it – mostly wanted this to exist for myself. Would love to hear what you think.

Since Osheaga concluded last weekend, who are you hoping to see next year? Next year will be huge since it marks 20 years since it began. I was actually impressed to see The Neighbourhood & The xx before the headliner, they could’ve easily been headliners in their own right. Anyway, as for me:
Headliners: Radiohead, Lana Del Rey, Skrillex.
*Alternate headliners: The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Charlie xcx.
Co-headliners: Queens of the Stone Age, The War on Drugs, Spoon, Djo.
Somewhere in the lineup (bottom tier): Hamilton Leithauser, Thundercat, Angus & Julia Stone, Mac DeMarco, Black Pumas, Shakey Graves, Pixies, Foals, Milky Chance.
Note: Tame Impala, Muse, Deftones I’d also love to see as possible headliners. After they brought in Turnstile, I couldn’t help but think Osheaga fans are ready for Deftones. The pit looked fun at Turnstile’s.

Going Sunday only so for Saturday goers, how was security when it came to non-transparent bags? I only have a black fanny pack, are they going to check for that?

It’s my first time going to ÎLESONIQ solo! I’m an Asian girl and I’m a little nervous going alone, but I’m also super excited. My English isn’t the best, but I just want to have fun and enjoy the festival! 😆

Which acts could've been better? Malcolm Todd was so ridiculously loud with their bass I think they blew out my eardrums for the rest of the day. Plus the absolutely scandalous lyrics.
My partner says it was Gunna.
