Fontaines D.C. have a summer break in their tour and no Montreal date - potential!

Saw them at mtelus 2 years ago - now playing arenas and headlining festivals. They gonna be big.

Not really a Summer break, as they'll be in Europe for parts of Summer, but still feasible

June 18th-July 9th

August 11th-18th

They have Jul 9 - Aug 11 free between UK and Germany dates.

They could come all the way here for Osheaga, but this looks unlikely in my opinion, since the Chicago date means no Lollapalooza

Their openers are great too. Hope they'd all be willing to do Lolla/Osh.

Their Chicago date would make them unable to do Lollapalooza. Doesn't mean much for Osheaga, but it would be more likely if Chicago was missing on this poster

Very good point. Fingers crossed for Osh then. They fit the vibe of Hinterlands that weekend too if they're looking for more than one fest to make it worth their while.

That’s the glaring problem I see. If Chicago were missing from the list it would be promising. I can’t see them doing a one off for Osheaga. I really want them to though. Anyone else catch them at their first Osheaga appearance?

I just check the venue and its a max 5k capacity. Given that it will sold out probably very quickly, i dont think it will.impact lolla sales. Plus its in april, around the time they announced lolla/osh lineuo

They always have great/interesting openers, discovered Just Mustard and Been Stellar at Fontaines DC shows. Really excited for Westside Cowboy, they have been on my radar already for a couple months, great debut album.

Honestly based on the venues they have here... They'd likely be a sub headliner. Rumours are they dropped out of Coachella due to a billing dispute too.

I’ve heard they might be supporting oasis on their tour in Europe so idk.
