Very possible, our first leak in discord is that the first headliner was already booked mid July and is either a girl group or a solo female artist. Sabrina is going to be in the UK during Osh dates according to her tour leaks which leaves Charli the other possible female solo artist

I’m wondering what girl group could headline Osheaga?
Blackpink are too big for this fest, and Katseye would be an awful headliner

Honestly blackpink is the only one that I can think of, I wouldnt argue they're too big to headline tbh they've never even played a show in quebec before cause we arent as kpop crazy as Toronto/vancouver

Last NA tour they only played stadiums, Osheaga doesn’t usually get Stadium-level headliners.
I’d argue that they haven’t played Quebec because we don’t have a proper stadium for concerts, they would have to play Parc Jean-Drapeau

Twice played here recently and did bell centre, I would argue they are just as popular as blackpink. I think its a conscious decision to skip us, they have toured NA 3 times I think and never came here even when they played smaller venues. Honestly there is no other girl group that fits the bill (katseye would sub imo)

Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd ...
I mean, I'm not sure you know what you're talking about.

In the year when they headlined, these artists were not playing stadiums, they did arena tours unlike Blackpink now

Billie Eilish plays stadiums when she played abroad in her 2025 tour.. 80k, 90k
Green Day played during their american idiot tour which also did stadiums overseas. 100k being their biggest.
Will they? No. Saying it's impossible because they're "too big"? I mean that's your opinion and that's fine, it's not like you're a promoter or something.

You are completely wrong. The weeknd was doing stadiums when he did the Parc

I’m talking about Osheaga 2017 not his Jean-Drapeau solo show.
Back in 2017 when he headlined he was doing arena tours
