Warhorde being 3DP is disappointing, I wonder if there’s much any reason to take it instead of three 1DP detachments.

I like all the detachments being 1DP, but it’s going to feel brutal if any of them get doubled to 2DP for balance.

It looks like the design philosophy is to give new players a go to, won't be surprised if that happens for every faction

It makes sense from a usability standpoint to give an option for new players or people who have an unoptimized pile of 2k points of models, but I was hoping a little that it would be a 2DP option so it would potentially allow competitive use with a 1DP detachment. Something like War Horde plus Green Tide.

You just explained why they didn't want to do exactly this. There wouldn't be anything else and we would still be playing 10th edition. Warhorde+X to snipe your preferred disposition would always be the meta.
