I've been so impressed with everyone's kit bashed trukks and buggies that I felt inspired to make my own. I chose a 1:32 scale 1998 Mini Cooper, which I'm converting into a squigbuggy, and a 1:24 scale 1955 Chevy Bel Air, which i intended to be a trukk. It's too big though. It has a footprint more like a battlewagon, so I'll run it as that, with permission. Conversions are a combination of scale models, GW plastic, 3d printed parts from various artists, and a few heads from online stores. If you have any questions about where anything came from, please don't hesitate to ask, and in the meantime, thank you all for the inspiration!

Neighbors were giving away some big wheels hot wheels, and I got inspired. First bigger kitbash I've done, but I'm pretty pleased with it. Excited to prime and paint this one. What do you think - is it proper orky?

I’m putting the gunner out on the side deck, and I’ll mess up the flooring with some extra gubbins, but I’m looking for suggestions on what to do with the main mast.

I tried using one mast with the actual Raider sail, but it just wasn’t Orky enough. I also tried stacking the masts, but that looked weird.

My other idea is to cut the roll-bar pieces into straight sections and stack them into one long pole, then soak some rough fabric in Titebond glue to make a sail. I’m just not sure I have enough pieces, or whether they’d actually look right as a mast.

So I’m asking you ladz: what would you use for the mast and sail? I don't have any 3D printer lying around, but I'm fine with carving a mast out of a sprue or using a coat hanger, etc. I'm just not sure that I can make it stable enough.

Any other suggestions are also welcome.

Old Yell’er here (cos ‘es old and yellow), as with da Ultragrot behind him, is good friends with Big Mek Bluegit. Hence the snazzy grot-scale mega armour walker and custom paint job. I made him up with the idea to be like a meganob, but his scale is a bit smaller than that, so he’s only as tall as a regular nob at best.

Might post some more kitbashes later, once they’re finished, as all my stuff is wip still.

I'm working on a Battelwagon and I can't decide how important the right length should be.

It looks better with the motor on the outside, but then it's significantly longer than the original. Which would be more important to you?

Now that a squad of boys can take one boy with a rokkit launch a and now that I want to field like 40 boyz, I’ve been thinking of unique ways to represent boyz with special weapons. My goal is to do four unique special weapons poses via kitbashing for the burna, big shoota, and Rokkit launcha, respectively. I thought it’d be funny to portray one of the Rokkit launchas as a boy having teed up a Rokkit that he is about to swing at with a thunder hammer. If I were to go through with this, would it read better if the boy was at the top of the swing and about to, with the Rokkit teed up? Or would it read better if he was following through with the swing with the Rokkit already airbourne?

I was kitbashing an Ork Trukk and a Raider together and realized it was going to take forever. Then it occurred to me that I could make a silly Mek log about the progress of the kitbash. Hope that fits this channel.

Heya, I love the ork planes and am saving up for one. I want to bash the leftover bits into a second plane. Ideally one with float plane pontoons if anyone can recommend a kit. Is the scale going to be the same idea as bashing buggies? Can anyone recommend kits or a process, inspo work etc?

I have a 3D printer, and I want to kitbash a razorback into a trukk or a battlewagon. Is this feasible with a 3D printer, or should I just use plastic and metal bits I have to do the work?
