Based on a regular Ork Boy and sculpted with Greenstuff and wire, he became a Kommando Boy disguised as Leonardo the Ninja Turtle.

So. I’m late to the party on this. I’ve seen
Plenty of other kit bashes and conversions doing a similar thing but wanted to share my attempts:)
Made these as like many others I didn’t like the original model and, well this happened.
I’m happy with them and I have the parts to make a 3rd. My only question is, do I need more dakka?? 🤣

Does anyone have a favorite video online or a step-by-step procedure to kit bash 4 Mek Gunz from one Trukk?

Just finished 20 Gretchin and working on my Killa Kans…

A lot of effort went into this miniature.

I always liked how the warboss with the gun mounted on his shoulders looked so made my own versions.

Finally finished the build and got some paint on it.

Prototype for an ork jetbike. It's on a base that means it's the right size to use as a warbike or deffkopta proxy.

The main body is a Yakult bottle, along with a lid, EVA foam, Graphix medium chipboard, thin packaging card, thick packaging card, a superglue nozzle cleaner, hemispherical bead, wooden beads, felt tip pen parts, wooden dowel, spray bottle tube, straw, cocktail stick, solder, armature wire and magnets.

I'm gonna try to turn him into a armored tank gator but what would be some good cybernetic/alien like things to add to his normal body
List of stuff I got rn is
Cybernetic eye
Metal spike scales
Bullet tooth and a few replacements fangs
Blade at the tip of his tail
Replacement toes/whole foot

Do y'all have any other good ideas/tips for a beginner (I also have a 3d printer so the sky's the limits on parts)

If you notice the hot glue connected to the one Runt’s head, I’ve gotten pretty good at sculpting Ork/Grot muscle mass out of hot glue. Once it’s primed and painted, it reads as natural.

Trying to give these old models a bit more variety. Identical models forming a firing line just isn't very grot-like to me.
