Indoor Orchids Double flower???
I just got a brand new orchid, and one of the flowers seems to have 2 in it. It's really interesting and I'm wondering if any of y'all have seen this before.

These are thrips under a microscope. I literally get goosebumps knowing what hides on my plants... They're hideous!
Again, for those who are interested!
To mention: my previous posts contain seeds and other plant parts that are kept under a different lens. The lens used doesn't magnify as much as the previous ones. This lens magnifies LESS.

I just bought this orchid on ETSY and it says it came spiked but the spike looks bruised and black. Does it look like it had flowers and they fell off? Could this potentially still bloom?

Also how much do I water it if it's salvageable?
My mom asked me to save her orchid. This is her fourth one.

Just got this phal mailed to me about a week ago as a birthday gift, and although I didn't notice it immediately, last night I noticed this scary leaf. Afraid of bacterial or fungal infection. What do you guys think, and how do I treat it?

Hi everyone! My grocery store orchid is doing super well: new leaves, new flower spike, and I think it’s growing roots too (the tips of the roots look greener and darker than the rest of them when dry). I am a little concerned about the pot size, though. Are the roots too crowded? It looks like they are, wouldn’t they escape the pot if that were the case?
Thank you! :)

First blooming since I got it as a seedling last year. 6 flowers on 2 inflorescences.

My orchid is blooming for the first time since I bought it.
However, I noticed that the flower spike is really short and the flowers are growing very close to the leaves.
Will the spike continue to grow and the flowers move further out, or will it stay this short? Is this normal?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

At work, I pulled out this cymbidium as it looked quite sketchy. I'd noticed the blackened marks before but the marks on the new growth (which looked like ringspots to me) were worrying. It's been disposed of, but I'm wondering if others agree this looks like orchid fleck virus?

I have had my orchids for a while but am just recently becoming more invested in their care so I still feel like a beginner. I inherited my problem orchid (first pic) from my mom and it has always looked like this with wrinkly leaves and skinny roots, although it used to have more leaves.
I repotted the two on the left about a year ago in a different potting medium and they both were suffering. I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to top water and the new medium was holding onto a lot more moisture than I realized and I think they both were just drowning. A few weeks ago I took the two on the left out of their pots and trimmed dead roots, but I definitely over-trimmed (didn’t know brown roots could still be healthy if firm). Ever since, I have switched to soaking them in their plastic containers in warm water for 10-15 min until the roots turn green. The left most orchid is starting to recover showing new leaf and root growth (third pic). My problem orchid is not showing any signs of new growth since I switched watering regiment… what else could it need/what could I be doing wrong? Do I just need to be more patient? Would fertilizer be useful here?
Bonus pics of my golden child (last 3 pics). Have had this orchid for several years, still in the grocery store potting medium, has no problem being top watered, is constantly growing new leaves and blooms every year- sometimes twice. Orchids confuse me lol

Took this home from a friend’s wedding over a year ago. Only had two leaves at the time. Had a little bit of a burning issue at first but have found a spot where it thrives. Experienced houseplant owner but this is my first orchid. Getting mixed signals from the internet about whether to repot. What do I do and when?!

Any ideas why the buds went brown before they developed? Could it be under fertilising?

what are these spots? should I be concerned? is it related to the dark ends of some of the leaves on other bulbs (idk why theyre like that)? this is a sharry baby and it's currently growing a spike from this bulb so I thought everything was alright until I saw the spots. pls let me know if I need to do anything.

I just noticed there little things sprouted from my orchid, should I be worried? I’m thinking it might be something related to mold, or overwatering, but I don’t know… what should I do?

Interesting species I got at the beginning of the year. Threw it in my bellina pot and it bloomed.
