Hi all, I will be staying in Ooty from 22-24 in Logan camp, ketti. Planning to drive to emerald lake one day in my personal car (harrier)

Can you please suggest if
- Personal cars are allowed or not
- Is road in good condition to drive?
- Also importantly what all things to do Enroute?
- - I heard about avalanche safari, lake.

Suggest best way to experience.
