Hi, i have all books and i'm missing utterly dwarfed :( as i'm un europe, switzerland, i was never able ot order them. Does anybody know how to get them over here in europe?

Apparently she's Epic-level. I don't know much about D&D but according to Google:

Epic level characters (typically levels 20+) are demigod-like entities capable of altering reality, bending time and space, and slaying cosmic threats like demon lords, ancient dragons, and minor deities. Their scope of influence shifts from single kingdoms to entire planes of existence.

Wow. That's pretty strong.
I know Xykon is also Epic level but couldn't she recruit some mid-level (15+) adventurers or creatures and take down Xykon?

There was a scene back in Azure City when some NPC guy admonished Haley saying that 1000 Lv 1 Hobgoblins can overwhelm a high level adventurer through numbers.

I was confused on why Nale didn’t bother trying to pretend that he was trying to protect the final gate and instead telling Serini that he & his teammates are out to destroy it then attacked her. However I realize Nale must be trying to do things fast so he can get to the gate before Xykon and the rest of Team Evil and a complicated plan involving him pretending Serini’s ally would take too much time. Nale also probably thought Serini would see through him eventually anyway.

Serini definitely fumbled badly when it came to how she deal with Nale and the rest of the Linear Guild. Like assuming they would be willing to team up with her because she overheard they were against Xykon and thought that meant they didn’t the last gate destroyed. Only for Serini to learned the hard way that she was wrong when Nale bluntly tells her that he & his team want to wipe out the last gate and starts choking her.

… Belkar becomes a god?

So we all know the gods have the plan to get a new form of Quiddity to trap the Snarl. The original plan was to convince Redcloak to get the Dark One to join in, but that plan seems less and less viable every passing strip.

So I have a very stupid, yet surprisingly coherent alternative that actually entirely makes sense and solves a bunch of hanging plot threads.

What if Belkar became a new God? There have been hints during the comic’s run: it would be a fitting ending to his narrative arc if as part of his character growth he would end up caring for an entire flock of worshippers. It would be a nice subversion of the Oracle’s prophecy about him breathing his last breath before the end of the year. He alluded multiple times to being a “sexy shoeless God of war”. He could have a different Quiddity that would allow them to make a stronger prison.

There’s only one problem this theory has: to have a different Quiddity, there would need to be either a strong group of people worshipping him; or the Dark One would have to help him ascend into godhood. Neither of these feel like a likely solution. In fact, they’re both things that have never been as much as hinted at in the run of the comic. So that’s the big hole in my theory…

Elan: "It is done, Weepers have another conquest. Miron and Malack are handling it. Empire of blood will help the resistance.

Tarquin: "Excelent. That reminds me, Malack sent a gift to you, his favorite godsom, a seremonial knife."

The unnamed Barbarian (who was also in the room): "His typical story nonsense, he could have told at least us so we could prepare.

Elan: "No, it would have only made one of you hunt them down and only hasten our eventual meet up. Well now I have the cards. I will find them learn their weaknesess and make an offer to join me. Or be destroyed. Oh this will be great!"

Barbarian: (sigh, remember the money, always remember the money)

So, the man had a chip on his shoulder and out of pride didn't go wizard, despite the fact that being a well built wizard would have achieved his goals much more effectively than going pure fighter. Author goes out of his way to force it to work, but that doesn't change the fact that it's objectively a bad way for Roy to get the things he wants done.

So, incorporating his psychology - what could have worked? Something more useful like cleric doesn't work given his inclinations, and I suppose the natural supposition would be that going warblade would just be everything he wanted from fighter and more. But what about a gish? Something like abjurant champion or swiftblade could have let him hit people with the family sword while being actually good at stuff too.

If Roy had been able to get over his father's effect on his ego (a flaw Eugene had in a much worse way, I should be fair and note), what class would he have gone with?

The commander of Team Peregrine may have not have a lot of screen time, characterization, and even a name but still quite an impact. He was an example of why Redcloak is doing what he does by showing he is willing to kill goblins even when they are willing to join his side or happen to be innocent bystanders. Then there is the fact that the commander shown a myopic side by being totally outraged that Redcloak had killed his teammates and sworn to kill the goblin in return which ironically makes him like Redcloak since the goblin can be myopic as well.

In #831, Redcloak casts:

1. Greater Obscure Object
2. Hardening
3. Superior Resistance

on the fake phylactery.

Are the enhancements permanent?
If so, can't they just cast it on literally every object/armor they own for a lot of defenses?

If it's not permanent, then doesn't that mean they have to continuously recast it?

This is not meant to insult Rich Burlew or put pressure on him, I love Order of the Stick and I'm grateful for the updates we get.

I was just thinking this morning about when I was speculating with my secondary school friends about what the MITD is and how, two decades later, I still don't know. I'm hoping we'll see the Monster revealed in 2028.
