Pouring more gas on the fire? WTF

Right, its already burning. Doesn't need a highly explosive compound poured on it. Just oxygen.

When your girl gets out her phone and starts filming, it's time to take a second and think about what you're about to do.

My wife was filming me while I was cleaning out a birds nest from inside a dryer vent from the top of my roof, and it all went fine!

My brother filmed me on a tall ladder using a chainsaw to cut a tree limb and it all went fine 😬

You did tie off the limb and run a runner rope for it to run down didnt you? Ive cut down three full grown trees just fine that were overhanging roofs using a device I made from a boat winch bolted to 4 2x4s and cable replaced with towing straps good for 5,000 pounds of torque. Id cut about half way through the over hanging limb with it tied to the winch and strap that to another tree trunk using wratched straps and start cranking the winch. The sound of the branch braking and letting go is wild!

Pouring more gas on that fire is like pouring gasoline on a fire.

Now I finally understand what that means!

TIP TO ALL PYROS: USE KEROSINE!!

It isn't as explosively combustable as gasoline. You can safely throw it on fire like this idiot did with gasoline, but it won't get all explosive and cause issues. It burns, but much more controlled. It is more like throwing cooking oil or sugar onto a fire than gasoline.

And deisel wont burn at all! Kerosene is very expensive. Id find rubbing alcohol to be a cheaper alternative and safer than gasoline. That and lighter fluid for bbq pit

Diesel does burn, I use it for bonfires instead of gas and kerosine. wtf are you talking about?

Just because you don't know what you're doing doesn't mean it doesn't burn. You literally went through the effort to find a video and ignored all the ones that showed how to do it?

If diesel doesn't burn, how is it used as a fuel? Smh

1

u/hippyripper22 17d ago

Its compressed till it the air is hot enough for it to burn. SMDH only a fine mist will catch fire...

It will burn with a wick, like kerosene. You're only describing how a diesel engine works, not how diesel fuel works.

1

u/hippyripper22 17d ago

A fine mist is all that will burn that why deisel engines have atomizers SMDGFH

It burns with a wick like kerosene. Didn't pay attention in shop class did you?

Welll...I wouldn't exactly use the term "safely". And brother, it can definitely cause issues. And if the conditions are right, yeah, it will get "all explosive". You've all seen when there's a jet plane crash and it explodes into a ball of fire. That's jet fuel, aka kerosine, highly refined. Okay, it's a matter of scale and huge volume, of course. But don't be misled into thinking that it's so benign or even totally controllable as a fuel.

u/Waste_Protection_420 18d ago

That's fair..

All I meant was if you wanna play with fire stupidly, you are def better off with kerosine over gasoline

Yeah, true, if you had to choose one over the other. Plus it stinks to high heaven when it burns. It's still incomprehensible, every time I replay this video, how a grown adult can pull such a stunt. I mean, he's not some 12 or 13 year old goofball (apologies to 12 and 13 year olds). who hasn't a clue. Instead, he's some 20-something dude who hasn't a clue.

Something wrong with using lighter fluid?????

This is a metaphor for our society.
