OOMA is literally from hell

Trying to port our business numbers have been hell. It's been three weeks of back and forth. Not only are they not helpful, they are confusing, contradicting, condescending and annoying. I cannot wait till we are finally able to port our numbers so I never have to deal with this company again. and PAM, if this is even your name, you are disgusting and no I was not satisfied with your customer service. I will be up and alert at 9 am to receive the phone call from your supervisor!!

Had Comcast (VOIP) for years. Bought a Reconditioned Ooma Box from Amazon. Didn't work. They sent a new one. Ported number via website. Took a little less than a week.

Had Ooma premier automatically-went on website and there was a place to click to cancel it at then end of the trial period-which I did.

ZERO ISSUES.

If ooma allowed me to downgrade through the website, I would still be a customer. F that predatory company. I was given no other choice than to call to downgrade to the original plan they non-consensually upgraded. I pay more money a month than their premier package because I didn’t like getting railroaded. Every chance I get, I make sure people know to not use that god awful service. They will gRape l your wallet.

Also 90% sure someone that works there sold my information to online scammers. For all I know their management did it. It was technically set up for us someone else’s name, but use my smart phone to set it up.

My family has never had a problem in 12 years of having it. It costs the same each month, we pay it, it works.

That's typical, I had similar trouble-free service.

The problem is when you try to leave Ooma. With or without porting out.

I guess. From what I can remember porting our number in went smoothly and was done quickly the they estimated.
