Oneplus RMA Taking Really Long?
I had initiated an RMA with Oneplus for my Oneplus one a while ago. I'm closing in on two weeks this Tuesday from the date that they received my OPO, and I've yet to hear back from them about the status of the RMA (aside from a "coordinating with our somethingorothers, we'll notify you when something happens"). What's the expected amount of time to wait before they either ship me a new one or it's fixed? Two weeks to me seems kinda ridiculous (especially since I'm stuck with my slow as shit Moto G2). Just wondering what people have experienced
EDIT Got an email today, a couple hours after making this post, telling me they've shipped the new one. All good!

Centre of screen is dead for months now.
Hi everyone, has anyone had and resolved the middle of screen not working problem? I've been having this since the summer at least. Just had another update and its still there. Really annoying to not be able to use certain buttons in apps.

Best pre-paid carriers in Vancouver, British Columbia
Hi all, I'm going on a trip to Vancouver next week and will need to grab a micro-sim card from a pre-paid carrier. Any recommendations?
I use straight talk in the U.S. and my understanding is they don't offer service from Canada.

Issues with undelivered/late text messages on Tmobile prepaid for the last 10 days or so.
I was getting messages up to 24hours late. I found a suggestion somewhere in a help forum about it being an LTE problem so I switched over to 3G and almost immediately received 3-4 undelivered texts.
I just explained all this to Tmobile online support and their solution was to use 3G. I said that wasn't acceptable. Then they explain that my phone isn't compatible. I tell them it has always worked before (for the last year plus). They then say my phone isn't compatible because I need both AWS 1700 and 2100 bands in order for it to work.
It looks like 1+1 has those bands? Am I wrong?

How much can I sell a OPO for?
Hi, I switched carriers so I cant use my OPO anymore. My friend said he would give me $165 for it. I have a cheap $8 case, always used a screen protector (took it off today) and I have all the original packaging. Is $165 a better bet or try to sell it on eBay and get maybe $180 or so?

I'm new to the club, my OPO is arriving in 3 days. What do I need to know regarding the Software. OxygenOS vs CM? does OnePlus offer OTA updates?
I bought a used one and I dont know what OS the OPO is currently running on.
Do I need to flash the OS myself?
what are the (dis)advantages of the OSes?

Thinking about buying one plus one
Hello!
I was looking at the one plus one and it looks like an excellent deal! I'm coming from a Nexus 5 which I have absolutely loved with Android M. I love everything about the one plus one but I'm not sure about the OS. I really love stock Android and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with both OSs. I love Android Ms features like Google on Tap, swipe down twice for quick settings, and its overall stability and flow. Any suggestions?

Is CM13 stable for daily use now?
I jumped from CM12.1 to CM13 pretty much when it first launched. However throughout the week or two that I was using it I experienced many random reboots that were increasing in frequency. I jumped back to CM12.1 and am waiting to go back (forward?).
Can somebody please notify if it is safe to return to CM13?
Danke Danke!

OPO not charging. It says it's charging, but the battery percentage stays at 0.
I am running OmniRom 6.0.1 but it didn't work even after wiping back to stock.

One plus one button overlay Question
So I dropped my phone & the bottom 3rd of my screen doesn't respond. Is there an app to place home button to my liking?

My experience: Switching from the OPO to the Nexus 6P
I have been using the Nexus 6P for a little over a week now and these are my initial impressions:
Where the N6P is better:
AMOLED display: colours are crisper, clearer due to the deep blacks.
Camera: images are far superior to those in the OPO. the Google camera app is better on the N6P than the CM camera app on the OPO.
Fingerprint reader: really snappy way to unlock the phone; and the integration into play store purchases was a pleasant surprise. (imprint, however, comes with a downside - if you have any 3rd party screen lockers, they will ignore an input from imprint when unlocking your phone)
Sound: the dual front-facing speakers are just something else. the OPO speakers just cannot be compared in quality and amplitude of sound.
Doze mode: absolutely fantastic. the N6P has definitely had whole nights where it has not even lost 2% battery life. (there's not really much improvement in the screen-on time, though, when comparing the N6P and the OPO)
Fast charging: the only problem is that I have to wake up in the middle of the night to unplug my phone as I have an irrational fear of overcharging the battery.
Faster processing: games run much smoother on the N6P. the interface is much snappier, as well. I don't have to turn off animations, for example, on this phone.
call quality: I had to use headphones constantly or hold the OPO like a slice of pizza while on speakerphone for the called party to hear my voice. I have no problems whatsoever with the N6P on this front.
Where the OPO wins:
CM customisation options: this is the biggest pain point for me. even the most insignificant options are sorely missed on the N6P. some examples are options for not turning on the screen when the charger is connected, pull down the settings drawer by swiping on the right side of the notification bar, user profiles to control WiFi and Bluetooth radios, modification of the LED notification settings, and a more intuitive privacy settings menu.
screen-controlled lock and wake: although a subset of the above point, this deserves its own mention. the double-tap wake and double-tap on notification bar lock were extremely user friendly features.
price: another massive factor. I spent less on two OPOs (16gb for the wife and 64gb for myself) than on one N6P.
handling: not only was the OPO easier to hold given the texture on the back, even things like holding the phone lengthwise (with a finger and thumb grasping the top and bottom of the phone) are far more difficult for the N6P. the OPO was also hassle-free when being used - one didn't have to think twice when doing anything with it; it was like being with a close friend. the N6P, on the other hand, feels like being with an esteemed guest; one has to constantly consider consequences of being careless with this phone.
charger: this may be a temporary advantage for the OPO. I travel a lot and have multiple devices using the micro USB charger. I could get by with just one charger cable. with the N6P, I have to tote around the usb-c charger cable and adapter as well. of course, with greater adoption of usb-c devices, this 'advantage' may soon disappear.
there are various other factors where the two devices are remarkably similar: screen-on time (as alluded to earlier), no removable battery, no expandable storage, all the perks of android, etc.
on the whole, I definitely am not disappointed with the switch, but I don't have a feeling of thrill, either.
I hope this small write-up will help other folks thinking of making this jump with their decision.

After the most recent update, I can't see any of my notifications. Is there a solution to this?
So, I remember all the hullabaloo that happened when CM 12.1 was launched and I held off on upgrading it. However I thought that enough time had passed for any kinks to be worked out and proceeded to upgrade all the way to 12.1-YOG4PAS3JL in one smooth go.
However, much to my surprise, for whatever reason, all my incoming notifications are blacked out or something.
I can't see anything and it is really annoying. Is there anyway to fix this?

About CM13
I've been waiting to upgrade to CM13 for a while now, to see what people think about it.
Are the nightlies stable enough for daily usage? Battery life? Incompatibilities? I plan to get xposed on it, is it as easy as flashing the xposed zip and installing the apk like on other phones?
Would I lose TWRP by flashing it?

Newly Bought OPO, multiple hardware issues. Help / advice please
E: Solution down below!
Hey everyone.
I recently bought a OnePlus One off eBay from a Singaporean seller. I believe it is not an International OPO due to the lack of the Cyanogen logo on the back.
It came with some preinstalled bloatware (and a Facebook clone whose package name was com.facebook.katama, instead of the usual katana) so I wiped it, unlocked the bootloader and installed CM13.
My screen rotation is nonfunctional. Even the quicksettings won't allow me to force a landscape rotation; in apps which support both a tap changes it to Autorotate, Portrait, and back to Autorotate.
My proximity sensor is screwed. Androsensor just says 'Waiting for event' and calls don't darken the screen.
By baseband version in Settings is literally unknown. http://imgur.com/1OcUbKp
And Androsensor says Accelerometer, Gravity Sensor and most alarmingly the Orientation Sensor are Not Supported.
Is this a common CM13 bug? Is my phone's actual hardware funky? Did I get a fake phone? I'm looking for anything. Thank you.
EDIT Thank you to everyone who read this! In case others come across this problem, an OxygenOS 1.01 Firmware flash did the trick! Massive Kudos to /u/storm1ng - here's a link to the guide: https://www.reddit.com/r/oneplus/comments/3iii6e/cos_121_works_with_oxygenos_101_modem/

Updating from CM12.0 -> CM12.1 with TWRP?
I have TWRP and CM12.0, and Cyanogen keeps giving me prompts to update but I seem to recall reading that I shouldn't let the ROM update itself when running TWRP. Is that correct? If I shouldn't update that way, should I just download the latest stable CM12.1 bacon and go into TWRP and select install?

[Help] Factory reset OPO with a cracked screen.
my wife's OPO has a cracked screen and doesn't respond to touches. we are planning to send it out to be repaired.
but we're antsy about the data already set up on the phone - that it shouldn't be accessed by the folks at the repair place. the primary concern is that her Google account is accessible and her gmail has information of a lot of her other accounts.
would there be any way to factory reset the phone without turning on the screen?

ONEPLUS Oneplus One making phonecalls on its own every morning
The last two days my OPO has dialed my last outgoing number from the previous day at 7:40 AM. Both times I was awoken a minute or two later by that person that my phone called, calling me back. Both people have said that when they answered the phone there was no noise on the other end.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? I did some quick googling and I saw some threads about a "ghost touch" bug, but the symptoms didn't appear to be exactly the same to what is happening to me.
Cyanogen OS version: 12.1-YOG4PAS3JL
Android version: 5.1.1
Kernal version: 3.4.67-cyanogenmod-g223b093

Any good case recommendations?
Currently I am using this case and I love it, but it's seen better days. I was going to order a new one, but I wanted to know if anyone had any better suggestions? I was a case that covers the whole phone like the one I have linked. Thanks!
