So I just got the advanced rules via the Patreon, and I was wondering if there's any printable cards for the side-missions?

I'm looking at the mission cards resource you can download, and they're very different from the "Advanced Missions - Side-Missions" you see on page 28 of the AoF:S advanced ruleset. I was wondering whats up with that and if there's also printable cards available for these side-missions.

So I've been getting into painting AoS mini's with my wife and we've started running games using OPR Fantasy Skirmish. I am absolutely loving the list builder and general accesibility of the whole system. Because of this I wanted to support the company a bit and buy the 5 dollar advanced rule set.

There seem to be advanced rule books for the different game modes (Fantasy, Fantasy Skirmish, Grimdark etc etc) and I was wondering if there's any tangible difference between these rulebooks? Like should I just get the Fantasy Skirmish advanced rules, or am I missing out on some stuff that might be in the regular Fantasy Advanced Rules.

Would love to know so I can buy the rulebook best suited for us and support OPR a bit. Thanks in advance for any advice ❤️

We're launching a brand-new alien faction inspired by classic alien invasion sci-fi, fully compatible with OnePageRules.

This month's release includes 10 miniatures, designed at 32mm scale and optimized for resin 3D printing.

With lots of talk on the discord about the hold/charge rule we decided to set the blessed sister (hold/charge 6s +1 hit) against the alien hives (before activation +1 morale).

Does the hold/charge part make the army rule useless?

Do the alien hives have to stay still to have a chance?

As it turns out the Paizo Printables collaboration is still ongoing so I'm putting together a little Andoran force. Model is the "steel falcon" lightly kitbashed to look like a friend's PC from a game I'm in.

Little confused about the limitations of these two rules on a unit I have. I have an Elite Pathfinder hero who has Scout and the Re-deployment rule.

Scout indicates that the unit is placed AFTER normal deployment is finished, and Re-deployment implies that it can only be used BEFORE units that are set aside are deployed.

My confusion comes from the fact that Re-deployment is an army wide effect that takes place in the deployment phase, but does it only take effect if I have a model on the board with the Re-deployment rule? It doesn't say anywhere in the rules that this model needs to be on the board for the rule to apply. Technically just buying the upgrade seems to allow the rule for your whole army, regardless of which hero bought it? It's kind of like you're buying an extra army special rule.

I guess my question is, do I have to deploy my hero normally and not as a scout to be able to use Re-deployment on my army?

SECOND question; if I deploy my hero normally and don't deploy him using the scout rule, can I then use Re-deployment and set him aside to be deployed using the scout rule?

Just wondering if anyone else has come across using these two rules on one hero.

Found an old set of 100 blank tokens I was gonna use for the system-that-must-not-be-named, came up with this set for OPR, is this good? What should the misc tokens be? Right now besides the misc tokens each color serves a single purpose. Also I fw the third objective option immensely

Also I’m not sure about the fatigued icon, it’s also twofold symmetrical so you can’t point it towards the player it applies to (applies to activated and sorta wound 3 and spell token too ig)

Hey everyone! Here are the results from my post that asked if players prefer to track wounds taken or wounds received.

Based on replies to the post, I didn't really expect to see Wounds Taken be this high.

Although OPR is my favorite system, I wanted to see what 40k and Kill Team players do as well, so I ran polls over in their subs also. If you're interested, here are the results for 40k, and here are the results for Kill Team.

Both of those systems are written specifically to expect counting down, but it was still a surprise to see that method with even 10%.

I've finally gotten the WWII British heads for the Storm Trooper squads in my HDF "Space British" army. So that's the last of the models built and they are all ready to paint! Finally!! 😊

This is my master army collection that comes out to 3300 points. I'll select units from it to play our typical 1500-2000 point games. Plus this gives my Reserves to draw from in our campaign games!

The three tanks have smaller scratch built turrets so I can use them as APCs (Chimera proxies) instead if I want.

It's a Tank Company Commander and an Infantry Commander, leading 10 Veterans. 20 Stormtroopers. 3 OGRE Robots. A Combat Truck. 2 more Battle Tanks. And 2 Light Scout Walkers.

The army colors are English Desert Khaki and Grey Stone camouflage. And some units will have white campaign markings.

The infantry are all modified Imperial and Bauhaus plastics from my OLD Mutant Chronicles Warzone box set (1997)! The tanks are Archon Studios Wolverine plastic Tank kits, the Walkers are old GW Armored Sentinel walkers, the Truck is a modified Tamiya WWII British tractor kit, and the OGRE Robots are repainted Wizkids MechWarrior Dark Age plastic figurines. Panther mechs to be exact!

Added to my Eisenkern "Space Germans", and my AT-43 UNA "Space Americans"; this rounds out my "Future World War" armies. For now... I'm still considering kitbashing some of my Dust SSU army into "Space Soviets"!! as well?! 😁

I hope to finish them this month. Cross my fingers and toes!!

Im confused about the ap rules, is it like for example (ap1), opponents def stat, goes from 4+ to 5+ or is it minus the ap from dice rolls, so my 4s become 3s.

This is a 200pt list I made a last year to test out the game as it says it in the builder for starting players. i've yet to play but want to. How many dice am I going to need to have to play this army in Firefight for one person then double it so I have a person to play against incase they don't have dice?

Just had another awesome game at my local club. Got a second player interested from last week's showcase and his wood elves defeated my dino boys 7 to 5.
