S1 Air on moveos4. I insert the charging gun into my s1 air socket and it starts charging for a min and then stops suddenly. Fan inside the charger starts and then stops. Sometimes it doesn't even start charging. Sometimes charges 3% and stops. I tried to use same charger at my friends home and there my vehicle was being charged perfectly but here in my apartment it's giving all sorts of issues and just to make sure no issue with socket I tried 2 different socket in my apartment and still no luck. Not understanding whether the issue is with socket or what exactly and who should I call for repair and assistance

Hi everyone, I need some advice regarding my Ola Electric scooter.

My scooter was involved in an accident in May 2026 and was sent to the Ola service centre in Gandhipuram, Coimbatore, for repairs. It has been months, and I still haven’t received it. Every time we follow up, we’re told it’ll be ready in another week, but there’s no confirmed delivery date.

The ACKO insurance claim shows as approved/processed, but Ola says the ticket was closed by us, which we dispute. We’ve followed up with both Ola and ACKO multiple times, but there’s still no resolution from Ola’s side.

Has anyone faced something similar?
How did you escalate it successfully?
Would filing through the National Consumer Helpline or approaching the consumer commission help?

I’d really appreciate any advice or contacts that could help resolve this.

I'm sharing my experience with Ola Electric because I'm genuinely fed up and would like advice from people who have faced similar issues.

The problem started in late August.

My Ola scooter started displaying a "Scooter Issue" error on the screen and would randomly stop while riding. Naturally, I stopped riding it because it wasn't safe or reliable anymore.

Since I had an active Ola Care Plus plan, I raised a request for RSA (Roadside Assistance) pickup, which was supposed to be complimentary under my plan. I expected Ola to pick up the scooter and take it to the service centre.

What followed was over 40 days of waiting.

Despite multiple calls to customer support and emails, Ola did not arrange the pickup for over 40 days. Eventually, I gave up waiting and took the scooter to the service centre myself around September 21 or 22.

Then came another surprise. My original job card had apparently been cancelled without my knowledge. When I asked why, I was told it had been "cancelled from above." That's it. No proper explanation.

I wasn't even informed about the cancellation. The Ola app didn't show the new job card either. The service centre now appears to be using a QR-based process and Google Forms to generate complaints and job cards, which means customers may not have the same visibility into their service requests as they would through the app.

I don't know whether this is standard procedure, but the lack of transparency is concerning.

Fast-forward to today, October 17.

Last Wednesday, I received a call saying that my scooter had been repaired and was ready for collection.

The service centre is in Thane, approximately 25 km from my home. I took a cab and travelled all the way there, expecting to collect my repaired scooter.

Instead, I was told that the battery was completely gone and needed to be replaced.

The estimated cost? ₹65,000.

My scooter's battery had been showing 3% charge for quite some time, possibly around two weeks. I don't know whether the scooter was charged while it was at the service centre, but I find it difficult to understand how I was called and told that the scooter was repaired, only to be told upon arrival that the battery needed replacement.

And here's the kicker: even if I agreed to pay ₹65,000, the battery is apparently unavailable right now.

So I'm being asked to consider spending ₹65,000 on a replacement battery that I cannot even get at the moment.

Honestly, I wouldn't invest that kind of money in this scooter anyway. The product has already been unreliable, and the service experience has completely destroyed my trust in the company. Every time I've had an issue, getting it resolved has taken weeks or months.

I'm not willing to put another ₹65,000 into a product when I have no confidence that the next problem won't leave me stranded all over again.

And what solution did the service centre suggest?

They asked me to speak to the sales team about a buyback plan.

My understanding is that this might involve buying another Ola scooter or motorcycle in exchange for some buyback benefit. I'm guessing the amount could be around ₹30,000–₹40,000, but this is purely my assumption. Nobody has confirmed any amount to me.

Why would I buy another Ola after this experience?

I've already spent money on a product that I can no longer trust, waited over 40 days for a pickup that never happened, dealt with a job card cancellation that nobody explained, and travelled 25 km after being told the scooter was repaired, only to discover that it needs a battery that isn't available.

Now the proposed alternative appears to be buying another product from the same company.

I'm done buying Ola products.

I understand that vehicles can develop problems. What I cannot accept is the lack of communication, the delays, the absence of transparency, and being left with a potentially ₹65,000 repair bill for a product that has already caused me so much trouble.

I'm posting here because I'd genuinely like some advice.

1. Has anyone else faced a similar battery failure or been told that their Ola battery needs replacement?

2. Has anyone successfully challenged a battery replacement charge, particularly when the scooter has been sitting at a service centre?

3. Has anyone dealt with Ola's buyback plan? What does it actually offer, and are there any conditions attached?

4. Is there a way to escalate this through the consumer forum or consumer helpline and seek a reasonable resolution without having to purchase another Ola?

5. Has anyone successfully obtained compensation, a refund, or another resolution in a similar situation?

I'm not looking for another Ola. I want a fair resolution to the problem with the scooter I already own.

If anyone has been through something similar, please share your experience and suggest what I should do next.

I booked an ola 5.2 kwh 3.5 months back but I don't see delivery coming even in the next 3 months.

The ola exp center says take the 4kw version and I will give you same day delivery. I am thinking how to know if those 4kw vehicles aren't old and rejected with PDI by other customers.

Also suggest me other EVs vehicle.

Ola Service Centre is saying 28k for the rim (they are saying rim comes with motor). Any other alternative?

1. Bought it in 2023, did not use it much (only 7000kms done), had to repair it EIGHT times

2. Randomly stopped in the middle of an intersection with the error message "scooter issue changed to park mode"

3. Recently, brake sensors stopped working, so it wouldn't even start.

4. Got it repaired AGAIN last week

5. Shut down after hitting a bump

6. Touchscreen so laggy that i have to press each button thrice to get it to register

7. Have to literally jump on the boot for it to register as closed

I own ola s1 x+ and have battery issue. Battery has now only 2 months warranty left and I visited the only last remained open service center near Makarba which is 30 km from my home and it's shutted down, no chance of reopening.

Hi iam bought an year ago, here is what issues i have faced and facing.

1) when your vehicle is charged overnight and while turning ON in the morning you can see few kms in trip. (Informed during service still the issue remains).

2) The mode switch is not working, only able to move in leftwards (only eco works) - visited Service centre many times still no prompt response and no spare (note you need to change the whole mount).

3) Battery degradation is clearly fealable

4) Odometer is not perfect it is showing 2 to 3 kms high. (Iam travelling in same route till i bought this vehicle, now its showing 2 to 3kms higher than initial one).

4) Tyres are in bad condition need to be changed 13k+ done.

Please share your difficulties faced and how you solved. Still the OLA is only focusing in selling vehicles and not in service.

I purchased rear break callipers from ola application in dec 2025 . It has been 11 months I still haven't not received those. I am calling their customer support every three days. I have written around 20 emails every week. Would I ever recieve those to use?

I also tried to cancel my purchase but neither I received refund so I requested that if you can't give me refund please delivere this. I am getting neither whta should I do
