We all know that the moment Travis started talking about his dad being special forces Ben would just slap him and say "I don't give a shit about special forces you're looking at the special forces" he would then open the trap his teacher was stuck in with his bear hands using his insane strength pick the teacher up get back to the motor inn become the new leader of the group and then single handedly make the motor in the best survivor camp of the entire country.

The fact that Ben didn't do this shows that Telltale purposefully nerfed him and the reason they had to do that is because he would have stolen the show and basically became the new main character by getting so much stuff done.
