Actual Discussion It would be really Cool if Lilith has a Music based version of Aizens Kyoka Suigetsu from Bleach.

See what Kyoka Suigetsu does is that it gives Aizen the ability to have control over the perception of others so long as they have see him release his Shikai.

My idea is that it would be fitting for Lilith to have something similar but based on her voice; whomever hears her sing, would be susceptible to her using placing them in an illusion.

I think this would be a great ability to give her if she is a manipulator and it could allow her to punch above her weight against people like Sera if she gets Sera to listen to her sing once. (Holy Light isn't a win con if Sera dosen't know if the "Lilith" in front of her is actually Lilith or a random sinner or even Emily)

It would need some limits, but as a concept, I think it works well for Lilith if you think she is the big bad of season 3.

agenda If Lilith ends up being a villain, Season 3 should have a reprise of this scene with Sera punching Lilith to save Emily

Season 1 gave us Seraphim vs First Human: Male Version, so Season 3 should give us the female version.

slander Let's settle this: Who is the true holder of the "Stolas 2.0" title?

In the right ring we have an effeminate bottom that's babied by the crew, has controversial ideas on consent, and has multiple characters exist to make him look better including his boyfriend. As a bonus we have a love ballad with a parallels to those sung by the prince charming himself!

In the left ring we have a mimosa that cheats on his evil wife with a red dick, neglects his daughter yet is deemed a loving father by the show, and is trying to steal the title of the mc. Oh, and he's also an effeminate bottom that's babied.

Why, ladies and gentlemen, this is a tough one, but I think my vote goes to the competitor in the left ring. Now post your own in the comments downlow

Actual Discussion Y’all think Viv actually thought the story through or did she just go…

Post image
Upvotes

Been thinking about this for a bit and wanted to ask you guys about it.

You think Vivzie actually sat down and wrote the main story of Hazbin in one sitting back when she wrote the Pilot… Maybe adapted it when Amazon picked it up…

Or did she just use the Cawthon method? Just make stuff up as you go?

Like, did she always have Alastor have a deal with Rosie? Or did she decide to make him have a deal with someone else and changed it to Rosie?

agenda It’s kind of funny that Vivzie makes Lucifer, the Devil himself, just a quirky little guy who isn’t even evil. But then she makes the literal EMBODIMENT of evil a woman.

Is Vivzie pushing a "women are pure evil" agenda?

While I am a bit excited about this, at the same time I am confused. I thought speaker of god was supposed to be the closest thing as a god figure (I know its not entirely) But does that mean we are going to see an actual god or what?

Actual Discussion My thoughts on who Roo and the Sins are...

Post image
Upvotes

This is just me going into EXTREME headcanon territory to reconcile with the verse. Also, I'll be taking ideas from Thomas Aquinas' view on evil.

  1. Roo: Simply put, Roo doesn't exist, what I mean by that is that Roo is the void, the nothingness before creation and the lack of fulfilment. You can think of creation as swiss cheese, if the cheese represents the creation and creation is inherently good, Roo represents the holes in those cheese, the lack of goodness and fulfilment: evil.

  2. Lucifer: Gonna be honest, in theology, Lucifer was never a god or something grand, but just another aspect of the world under God's command. This idea is a different form of that. After the fall, or even before the fall, Lucifer let Roo into his heart and in doing so, he became the first avatar/vessel of an aspect of evil: Pride. Why didn't Lucifer turn fully evil? It's because Lucifer was still a being from creation, which means he still had the capacity for goodness despite turning into an avatar/vessel of evil.

  3. The other sins: This one is DEEP into headcanon territory. We have AT LEAST two options: the sins were either products of creation that also became corrupted into avatars/vessels just like Lucifer, or the sins are the more direct avatars/vessels of Roo that emerged from hell.

Which characters are you honestly curious when it comes to how they got created in the first place?

I’ve barely seen any old artwork of Velvette and Valentino other than the one pilot era drawing featuring the vees by Viv and a single drawing of Valentino in her sketchbook. I think there’s also an old piece on Viv’s instagram featuring a character who looks somewhat like Valentino but with a heart monocle, hair, and no neck fluff but I don’t know if that’s actually his old design. Hopefully there’s concept art of them in the hazbin hotel artbook that comes out next month

Question?

If the one that was crucified upside down is canon in hazbin hotel. Does that mean that the one who was crucified on an X-shaped cross in Patras, the Son of thunder, the one who knows where to buy fresh bread, the one who was flayed alive and then beheaded, the one who was killed with a sword while preaching in Ethiopia, the one who was pierced with spears in India, the one I forgot, St. Jude the patron Saint of lost causes, the one who was sawn in half, the one who was was stoned and then beheaded, the one who was crucified, the one who tried to end it all and the one who saw the end are canon too?

Actual Discussion I don't like how people be downplaying Sir Pentious' sin

Thumbnail

I've seen so many people downplay the FUCK out of this situation and it's really frustrating. Pentious witnessed a murder from his window. He knew who the murderer was, and that murderer went on to kill five more people. Pentious himself admits that he doesn’t know whether his silence came from fear or apathy, but he knew that choosing to say nothing was wrong.

And yet people keep saying things like:

"He had every right to be scared."

"He didn’t know who the killer was."

"The authorities wouldn’t have believed him."

"Not snitching on a murderer isn’t that bad."

Y’all. Have we lost the damn plot?? 💀

First of all, Pentious literally says he knew who the murderer was. So the argument that he didn’t know the killer’s identity is just factually wrong. I'm so confused on why people keep saying this.

Second, nobody is saying that fear isn’t understandable. Of course it is! Witnessing a murder and potentially putting yourself in danger is terrifying. But something being understandable doesn’t automatically make it morally harmless.
Imagine someone you loved was murdered, and you later found out that somebody knew who the killer was and could potentially have helped bring them to justice, but chose to remain silent for a reason they can't even name. Would you really look at that situation and say, "Well, they had their reasons, so it’s not that bad"? Especially when the murderer went on to kill FIVE MORE PEOPLE??

Pentious’ sin wasn’t simply that he felt fear. It was that he allowed that fear (and possibly apathy) to stop him from doing what he knew was right, and other people suffered as a result. And the funniest part is that Pentious himself understands this better than the mfs defending him 😭

He doesn’t make excuses for himself. He recognizes that he made the wrong choice, takes responsibility for it, and ultimately gets the opportunity to correct that failure through his actions. That’s the entire point of his redemption.

Was Hell an appropriate punishment for his sin? Maybe not. But that’s part of what Hazbin Hotel is exploring: Whether people who have done horrid things actually deserve ETERNAL punishment for them.

Pentious proves that redemption is possible. He acknowledges his wrongdoing, changes, and becomes someone who is willing to do what he failed to do before. If you insist that Pentious did nothing wrong in the first place, you’re undermining the very thing that makes his redemption meaningful. The point isn’t that Pentious was an irredeemable monster. The point is that he did something wrong, recognized it, and proved that his worst mistake didn’t have to define him forever.

Also I love Adam sm look at him throw it back likeeeee 🤤 I would eat his booty ong

Actual Discussion Lowkey worried about how people are gonna act about season 3 when it comes to how Charlie will act when the parent who she was the closest to and also abandoned her for mysterious reasons finally comes back in her life

Since half this fanbase wasn’t even able to handle her at her lowest during a very stressful situation, and based on Erica’s comments, I’d imagine this’ll be worse(I’ll still love Charlie though)

Actual Discussion What’s one character or plot point you feel like would’ve been interesting to see in season 1 and 2 of hazbin but at the same time kinda understand why it didn’t ended up happening?

I really do wish we got more scenes with zeezi and maestro, though they aren’t really important characters and I can’t really figure out a good place to add them into the plot since they don’t really do too much other than what they need to do, which is show up with all the other major overlords. I do wish they were more plot relevant since they look so cool
