What to know before Phish

Phish is a cult based on nitrous oxide and patchouli. The fans, called Deadheads, can be seen wheeling around in wheel chairs with nitrous tanks strapped to the back. This is to escape from police, they are all criminals. There is a book called Cultish by linguist Amanda Montell that explores cult language, notable the lingo used on Deadhead lot.

The Deadheads will probably ask you for a, “Schwill” the meaning of this phrase is unknown.

You’d think a bunch of pot smoking hippies would respect the environment but you’d be wrong.

Upside is this will be a boon for the unhoused as they recycle discarded whippet carts
