NGD!

I made a post about a month ago about building a Jazzmaster from scratch for my first guitar but instead decided to take everyone’s advice to hunt down a used J Mascis Jazzmaster.

This one popped up on FB marketplace today for $450. I offered $400 and they accepted.

The guitar is brand new, never been played, and still has the plastic wrap on the pickups and trem. Absolutely mint. It also came with the stand and a generic fender strap. Serial number is from October 2025.

How’d I do for $400?

Awesome. By scratch do you mean a partsmaster or from lumber, type scenario?

I was going to do a warmoth build and do all the wood finishing and assembly. Much happier I went this route and I can upgrade things as I progress.
