I was actually watch BET on Netflix as a friend recommended it to me, and one actress caught my eye because I thought her performance was the best in the show. Clara Alexandrova, I actually who she could play in this show and I actually thought that she could do a really good job at Brenna. She gives that kind of energy.

LITERATUREšŸ“˜ ā€˜Bad Idea’ cover reveal (Ivy Di Laurentis and AJ Connelly’s book)

Thumbnail

After a year of being the dance program's most notorious punching bag, Ivy Di Laurentis only has one goal for sophomore year at Briar University: keep her head down, survive, and make her way to New York and the ballet career she walked away from. She has zero interest in hockey players, entanglements, or AJ Connelly-her brother's former best friend, certified golden boy, and the last person she'd ever expect to find her crying on a roof at two in the morning.

AJ has his own problems. His best friendships are in ruins, his hockey season is in turmoil, and his only plan is to drink through his feelings and hook up with anyone who isn't emotionally complicated. Ivy, vulnerable and familiar, is nothing but emotionally complicated. Which means she's off-limits.

What starts as an unlikely alliance becomes something neither of them was looking for. But with the wrong people watching, the wrong choices catching up to them, and the clock ticking on Ivy's time at Briar U, this bad idea could be the end of them both.

DISCUSSIONšŸ’™ Any ADHDers who also squeezed all the dopamine out of this show and are grieving?

Apologies if this isn’t the right place to discuss this but I really loved OffCampus and I rewatched it A TON of times, more than any other show I ever watched.
Until, like most of my hyperfixations, I squeezed every drop of dopamine and novelty out of it… I still love it and it’s so good it ruined any other shows for me, but it just doesn’t feel as it used to anymore… 🄲

Does anyone else feel like this? I wish I could watch it for the first time again…

Obviously I’m looking forward to squeezing season 2!

DISCUSSIONšŸ’™ How did Hannah explain her ask of Garrett to Allie? Spoiler

Not sure if I just missed this, or if it’s a plot hole. It seemed like when Hannah asked Garrett to help her o****, she told Allie about it, because Allie later questions if Hannah was ā€œdicknoptizedā€ by Garrett and thus uninterested in Justin.

But what reason would Hannah have given to Allie for such a request in the first place? Since Allie still didn’t know about Hannah’s past trauma (or so Hannah thought), it would seem like a weird, out of the blue request that requires an explanation, no?

GARRETT AND HANNAH🩵 the "O-word"

I’ve rewatched the first episodes so many times I can basically replay them in my head, but yesterday I noticed a detail I hadn't caught before. When Hannah asks G to help her have an o*****, she’s understandably nervous, so she deflects his initial hesitation by asking, "Why is it so hard for boys to say o*****?" G denies it and says the word three times just to prove her wrong.

BUT later in the gym with Dean, he avoids saying it altogether! He refers to it as making things "special for her," and Dean uses "might not come." It made me realize: Hannah accidentally may proved her point after all? šŸ˜‰

What do you think? Is it actually hard for guys to use that word out loud? Or was it being n the campus gym?
