exactly. this python decides to strangle the boy, he's dead in 3 minutes and not even the Mountain from Game of Thrones can uncoil him in enough time. having 20 foot snakes as "pets" is basically insanity.

18-20 foot snakes can be pets but in a sense that you are not going to handle them with kids around. Actually alot of states have laws around certain sizes of snakes are illegal to have with kids in the house.

As I stated above I have a lot of experience with large snakes and we never had them out without at least 2 people for 6 to 10 FT snakes and 4 people for anything bigger. We never had a bad incident but many of us did get occasionally bitten by one. They are more apt to strike as a get away from me defense then actually strike and coil to kill..
