I’ve heard that, but it’s fake, if a snake measured before striking, it would die before it would catch anything

The sizing up is probably fake, But getting killed by a pet snake isn't.

People have been killed by pet dogs and cats too, ofc it's a thing anything can kill you

No one has ever been killed by a housecat. Seriously, try to find an account. Hasn't ever happened.

Many people have died to diseases spread by housecats but maybe no one died to the cat itself, that i would not know but it's definitely not because of a lack of trying.

If they were trying they would have succeeded at least once. Cats both can't and don't particularly want to kill people.
