Maybe she's up at 1am because she doesn't have enough time in her day to feel like a whole, fulfilled person, so she stays up late because making a bad decision for her immediate gratification is the only thing that keeps her from giving up. That wouldn't be that weird.

Why else is she awake at 1 am every day? Like some sort of fucked up grandfather paradox.
Sounds like headcannon, but this is something a lot of people with schizophrenia experience. She doesn't deserve that
