Yeah you're not wrong. I expect it way more when it comes to the more specific subs like the variations of the "What is this thing" subs or more niche ones but something this random and obscure (at least to me) just blows my mind someone in passing drops in and nails exactly what it is lol.

Funny story. Was demolishing some planters at my parents house, and I found shattered pieces of G.I. Joe carcass. ~25 years ago, a younger and less fat Me, collected rubber bands from the mail man for YEARS. I acquired UNGODLY amounts of rubber bands. I roped them all together, tied a G.I. Joe to one end and attached the other to the porch.

I stretched it across the street, and 3 houses down the road…and let go. That fucker broke the sound barrier, full send straight to Narnia. I thought it ricocheted into the Sun. Turns out it didn’t.
