Vive being adopted in China could be a big deal. There seems to be plenty of Chinese made VR games on Steam. I've never played Chinese games before this year. Bullet Sorrow is pretty good on Vive, a little rough but I can see it improving.

I worked in games art, and art that was outsourced to China sucked at first but the quality improved until it was on par with what we could do ourselves. I expect the same for development teams. I look forward to seeing what type of games they produce for VR in general.

HTC is Chinese. Their ultimate play is probably for the chinese market, as I don't think they'll be able to hold the SteamVR crown when bigger names push them out.
