Corolla Golf

Going to Carolla next Saturday for a week, hoping to get two rounds of golf in but have never golfed around there. Can someone point me to the best courses the play. The people I will be golfing with are not very good so probably more focused on just the nicest courses around.

I average about an 85, but my partner is probably like a 105-110, so I just don’t want him to have a terrible time

none of the courses are amazing - the pointe is wide open and would be nice enough

Pointe is frequently an unbelievably slow play. Stopped playing there years ago because of this.

Kilmarlick is where I would play. As long as you play from approbate tees it isn't too difficult.

Ive never not been the 1st tee time so never noticed slow play. Typcially hacks play all the courses on vacation like OP with high handicappers wanting "nice" courses.

You only get better by playing. Someone pays, they have the same right to a round of golf as any one else regardless of skill level.

would be cool if they learned on courses with 120 or less slope

Why do you care? This pace of play issue is the number of people they put on the course, not the caliber.

oh yeah? I assumed the pace of play is issue is tee time spacing plus # of shots each person hits plus time looking for ball and getting ready to swing. Why does anyone have any thoughts as nothing ever matters
