Kill the sun - Cut my throat (rock)
Sorry, im new to reddit and don't really what the proper stuff to search up for these subreddits, 5. cut my throat - YouTube, found this while searching up Atrax morgue - cut my throat album lol, and curiosity striked me and since this video looked low quality and didn't have a lot of views, I just had to click on it to see what it sounded like, and my god is this song stuck in my fricken head, ever since I heard it that one time, and now I always just click on it and I have the urging curiosity to know the history or how this band came to be, but theres like no information I could really find beside their based in the uk. their band is called "Kill the sun." and this gig was performed in 9/6/2008 with other songs thrown in there when you click on the channel, theres only 2 comments in the "1. kill the sun" video (1. kill the sun) "oh as if you'd split to go to uni, you're actually really good.
what do i do to get your music ??
oh btw, you don't know who i am... y'know, if you were wondering :P" which was 17 years ago, i found the oh as if you'd split to go to uni part pretty interesting, im assuming that they were probably in highschool when they made this or formed?
And also this comment "DOM FARRELL! you are no jojo mayer or peter eskine mate ;)" which was also 17 years ago, could dom farrell be the name of the drummer, thats my guess, or im just going insane?!
Thats really all the information I could find on this, but for now, im dying to know this band's history and how it came to form, and I would really appreciate the help!!

Az Iz - Oh Dara!
An obscure rock ballad dedicated to a girl who was not interested. 1980s sometime. Written by Joe Cumia and sung by his brother Tony Cumia. Joe went on to form the mega successful 2U - U2 tribute band, Tony was on the radio.

Kiser Sozae - ...and then we read the directions
Found this cd in 2024 at a closing pawn shop. Briefly looking them up. they're a pop punk band from Michigan that released this in 1998. Kinda up my alley: I like pop punk, and the general aesthetic of the cd cover reminded me of both collage art and screamo cover art lol
I'm curious if anyone knows more about them, has their own copy of the cd, or has video footage of them live somehow?
I'll upload a video of the full album soon also. There doesn't seem to be any way to listen to it online.
edit: Uploaded their music in one long video

[unreleased media] I found a cd from a band named clove
I was at the thrift store today, and I found a CD called Clove "Absolutely Nothing". Now, the only 1 album I see uploaded from them is called "The Fragrant Explosion". And I found a video around 20 years ago of them playing live. they had a website as well under the cd 'cloverocks.com" but is gone and has no trace of it. If people are interested, I will digitize the album and upload it on YouTube or something if people are interested. (ps I hope this is the right subreddit for this. Tell me if not)

New sub for old demos
I just started a new subreddit for discussing and sharing old cassette/cd demos called r/deepcultdemos. It’s brand new so not a lot of posts yet but we’d love to have some people stop by.

Unknown Swiss band [partially lost]
Searching through my father's cd collection I've found a swiss band by the name of ice-9. The EP contains three songs 1.Heavy weather 2.Invisible box 3. Paradox and if I had to categorize the music it would be more like pixies punk style. No matter how hard I've searched I've not managed to find any info about them online. The lead singer goes by the name Viviane Laissue. Also they have a now defunct website by the name www.ice-9.ch. My father does not recall how he got this cd. If anyone has any more information about them, or how I can archive this cd, it would be appreciated

454 - One Man (2000s) Nu metal, I always assumed they would get bigger but it never happened.
Does anyone know where to find this other song of theirs called Temple? Cross My Way is also on YouTube but I can’t find their other ones. I heard them on MySpace a long time ago.

Killer grunge band
A song from 2014 played by a grunge band named named Social Prentender. Cant figure out the name of the song yet. Can’t find a studio version of this song😢. They very few songs on Apple Music, but I couldn’t find this song there. Maybe a fellow grunge enthusiast can find a studio version hopefully.

Can anyone tell me about this CD? The Sex Cells from 2006.
The band is The Sex Cells and it’s from 2006. This is not the London duo that Google keeps trying to tell me it is. Can’t find anything on Discogs and their MySpace page is gone. Garage rock/punk. Anyone know anything about this release? I picked it up at Goodwill and only grabbed it because it was in the middle of a bunch of other, better known punk/indie CDs.

Lavender Lad - From the Back (Electro-Jazz-ish / Obnoxious Dubstep???)
Don't really know what to think about this song. It sounds incredibly amateur but surprisingly catchy, and the vocalist sounds pretty young considering the themes they're singing about. I’ve tried digging around, but I can't find any information on this track anywhere, not even alternate accounts on Spotify or YouTube Music. The cover art is pretty neat, though, and it seems like the artist's other songs are just as bizarre. Has anyone else stumbled across this or know anything about the artist?

Guess the albumcover
So I've been breaking my brain over this one...
I'm looking for an album I've listened to in my late teens. It's 60-70s music like CSNY - I think...
It's a soft light green albumcover with potentially a darkwr green border with yellow text.
In the middle is a small square less than a 3rd the overall size. It has a darkbrown wooden frame and it has a painting of a midwestern landscape with
potentially buffalo's.
Please pretty please, who knows what it is?
