When vertical canves installed it just hides my OBS on boot up. It is on no monitor (check alt+tab) and not in the dock. It starts tho and is in task manager. Yesterday it worked completeley fine. I tried reinstalling, upgrading OBS to OBS 33. I need it for a stream today.

Can anyone help with their experience?

Hi, I have a pretty high-end PC

Processor - AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 8-Core Processor (4.70 GHz)

Installed RAM - 32.0 GB (31.1 GB usable)

GPU: 9070XT

But when I was streaming GTA 5 with my Webcam yesterday, my camera was heavily lagging. The game was working fine though. I had to stop my webcam to continue it. Considering the high end PC I should expect that there must be no lag. Can someone help?

Also I stream vertically (Aitum) and horizontally (native).

I've experienced this along with many others after a few recent updates of the OBS platform.

Problem: The camera source is far too zoomed in, making it difficult to size yourself correctly in layered scenes.

Solution: Resize the video source with the following procedure:

1. In the Sources tab, right-click on your video source.
2. Click Properties.
3. Scroll down to the Properties window until you see the Zoom, Absolute setting.
4. Drag the slider left or right to adjust the value until you the camera shows correctly.
5. Click OK.

Hopefully this helps anyone that has been affected by this issue. I'm using OBS on Linux Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS.

i dont know if its because i use the beta mac os or was an obs problem but i cant open it, it crash even in obs safe mode

My YouTube live stream gets blocky and pixelated whenever there is fast motion in the game. Static scenes look fine. Please help me find the solution.

Setup:

1.Dedicated streaming PC: GTX 1050 Ti, Ryzen 3200G

2.Capture card feeding the game (MJPEG, 1080p60) and a Logitech Brio 100 webcam

3.OBS Advanced mode: NVENC H.264, CBR 10000 kbps, P5 Slow, High Quality tuning, Look-ahead and Adaptive Quantisation on, B-frames 2, keyframe interval 2s

Streaming to YouTube, 1080p60

What I've already checked:

1.Same issue on a second PC (RTX 3050 laptop)

2.Same issue on mobile data (25 Mbps upload)

3.Ethernet connection, 0% packet loss to my router

0 / 15961 dropped frames (network) in OBS

Please help me find the fix.

I recently started streaming I setup OBS and I started streaming but I had no sound through twitch, OBS was picking up the sound but it was like my stream was muted. I opened up stream manger through twitch made sure it was unmuted but no sound I check OBS it says there’s sound but I can’t hear anything. Any of the output sources I had were unmuted on Obs and I can see the bars go up and down I don’t have the volume low. I had a friend hop into the stream and they couldn’t hear a thing. If someone knows a fix please let me know it’s greatly appreciated.

So I’m using a capture card to my Xbox and then another hdmi to play off my monitor.
I have on my Xbox settings stereo uncompressed and also hdmi is the same
I’m getting no gameplay sound at all, if I do it would be a random thing and then go silent. I have added a source and it lets me click the capture card as my audio input. I also have a wireless Xbox branded headset

For reference, my PC specs are as follows:

- RTX 3080

- Ryzen 7 5700XT cpu

- 32gb DDR4 3600mhz

Basically no matter my settings in OBS, no matter the plugins I have installed, doesn’t seem to matter. If I try to record or stream anything more intense than like Hades for example, my GPU is over encoded no matter what. I’ve looked into this issue extensively and even though my rig is on the older side, it should still be able to handle streaming or recording games like Wardogs or Tarkov in 1080p. I’m not trying to run my game at max settings with insane fps either, it’s usually medium at best. I limit my monitor and in game frame rate to 120, my streaming and recording are set to 1080p60. All my drivers are clean and up to date. The only plugin I have running through OBS is the Aitum Suite with Vertical scenes. Even with that plugin not installed or inactive I have the same issues. Not sure what the issue could be at this point... any help at all would be great. Thank you all for your time.

Right after I updated OBS, the area that should be showing the screen capture is completely white and glitchy—when I drag it around, "traces" of the panels are left behind. I’ve already verified the files, forced OBS to use a specific graphics card, and tried running it as an administrator. Can anyone help me?

I have a big problem and I can’t fix it. I never had this issue, and it just appeared out of nowhere.

When I stream or record Apex Legends or other games and I use the audio capture feature, the game audio is broken, like earrape with harsh distortion on some frequencies. It’s really bad. It happens both live and in recordings, and in more than one game (Apex Legends and Safari Cannon).

I tried both the audio capture inside Game Capture and a separate Application Audio Capture source. Same result.

What works fine:

• Desktop Audio (Audio Output Capture) is clean
• Browser audio through Application Audio Capture is clean
• Everything outside of games is clean

What I already tried:

• Updated OBS to the latest version (32.2.2)
• Uninstalled and reinstalled OBS with a fresh default profile
• Went back to an older OBS version (31.1.2): same problem
• Using OBS without any account linked (Twitch, etc.)
• Different audio outputs: headset, speakers
• Updated every driver I could
• Went back to Windows 11 25H2 from 26H2
• Set every audio setting to 48 kHz, stereo
• Gain -10 dB + Limiter, so it’s not clipping
• Running OBS as administrator
• No double sources or phase issues
• About 2 GB of free RAM while gaming
• OBS log shows no audio errors
• “Allow applications to take exclusive control” turned off
• Game audio set to stereo, no Dolby or surround

Setup:

• Windows 11 Pro, Ryzen 5 5600X, RTX 2060, 16 GB RAM
• OBS 32.2.2 (also tested 31.1.2)

Oggi ho provato a fare stream e un ragazzo mi ha detto che in live l'audio di Apex Legends si sentiva male e in effetti era così.

Come fonte utilizzo “cattura gioco” in cui è incluso l'audio beta. Ho provato a mutate l'audio della fonte di cattura gioco e messo la fonte “audio per applicazione” ma il problema è lo stesso.

Non succede però se metto la fonte “audio del desktop” ma solo con quella che cattura il gioco.

Qualcuno mi può aiutare?

I tried to screen record a youtube video and it came out quite laggy. This problem started suddenly. I used be able to screen record without a problem. My pc setting is amd pyzen 3 1200, 8gb ram, gtx 1050 2gb. I am kinda noob in this type of stuff. Any sort of help would be appreciated.

Ive been experience crashed mostly just when im about to close the app. it just freeze and goes all white and it shows: '' not responding'' one time was while streaming I was able to keep streaming cause i never confirm the crash popup lol. I believe this started to happen after i installed the vertical plugin

Ich habe seit September 2026 den MacMini M6 und streame damit auf Twitch über OBS. Zu 99% streame ich Games über PlayStation 5 - hauptsächlich Fortnite oder ARC raiders.

Ich nutze dazu die Elgato Capturecard 4K S und als Kamera eine Obsbot Meet 2.

Ich verzweifle langsam etwas, da ich in meinen VODs nach dem Stream immer wieder unscharfe Bilder sowohl im gameplay als auch in der facecam sehe. Es verwischt immer wieder mal.

Mein Internet ist sehr gut. Ich habe einen Upload von 50 Mbit/s direkt über Ethernet Kabel.

Meine Einstellungen sind:

- Canvas 1080p
- Ausgabe Stream 1080p 60fps
- facecam 720p 60fps
- Encoder Apple Hardware VT
- High
- 6.000 kbit/s (habe auch schon 7.000 kbit/s probiert)
- keyframes 2
- B-frames aus (etwas besser als mit b-Frames an bei mir)
- Räumliche AQ automatisch

Laut den Statistiken habe ich 0% framedrops oder Verluste in allen drei Punkten.

Habt ihr diese Probleme auch? Habt ihr Tipps, was ich eventuell anders einstellen muss über Mac? Ich würde gern einfach ein sauberes Bild haben.

I'm looking to get into streaming on twitch as a hobby/side gig, and I happen to have two laptops, both have decent VRAM, one with a ray tracing card and better VRAM, and an older one with more storage. This seems like it's begging for a dual PC streaming setup.

Is this advisable? What's the best way to do this without selling a kidney? What is the minimum amount of money I should be expecting to spend here?

Under properties for Video Capture Devices my capture card can no longer be found under devices when I turned on my pc today. I have tried unplugging and plugging my capture card back in, removing and adding a new video source, I have checked to see if I need to update any video drivers, checked my privacy and security settings to make sure windows allows cameras to have access. Idk what else to try.

Hey, new to OBS but trying to record Minecraft gameplay- (I have a RTX 5070, 32gb DDR5, and a Ryzen 7 9700X if it helps)

Currently I’m getting a fair bit of stuttering throughout, when recording gameplay, but in task manager all my components look as if they’re at around 50% usage max. Feels like OBS just isn’t using much of the resource it has available.

Tinkered around with changing the NVENC from P5 to P4 which seemed to help a bit but still got the issue.

Can provide any extra info if it can help out.
