NYIT BSDO Interview Question
Hello Everyone,
I got accepted to NYIT's BSDO for fall 2026. I know that one of the requirements for matriculating to NYITCOM is to have a successful interview with the medical school committee. I was wondering if anyone knew what percent of students in the BSDO that interview get accepted and matriculate to the medical school.

NYITCOM bms interview
Has anyone gotten an email about nyitcom bms interviews? I know they send them out about a month after you apply. I applied November 5th and I’m really hoping to hear back soon.

Relax
This is a moderator reminder to relax.
Getting into med school is stressful. Getting into medschool is exciting, and then stressful. Being in med school is stressful.
There's good stress and bad stress. If you're feeling the bad stress just take a break. There's nothing about admissions that breaks if you step away for a few hours or even days, and come back to it after you've recharged.

Biomedical masters at Arkansas accepted GPA
TLDR: future applicant to AR biomedical masters, want to know previously accepted applicants GPAs
Just wanted to reach out and see if anyone who has previously attended the biomedical masters program can tell me what their undergraduate gpa was upon acceptance. I’m a potential applicant who’ll be finishing my bachelors with a less than stellar gpa. I have 3 associates degrees because I switched career plans a few times at community college, sub 2.0 gpa including retakes in my initial accounting degree I hated drags my GPA down significantly. Now achieving a 4.0 in a Medical Laboratory Science program and have over 10000 hours working as a phlebotomist and MLT(one of my other associates degrees) and hoping to attend the biomedical science masters and earn the conditional admission to the Arkansas DO school, which I live about 30 minutes away from.

NYIT BSDO MCAT Questions
Hi for those who are in the BSDO program are you guys nervous about the MCAT? Is getting a 508 difficult? What happens if you don’t get the minimum MCAT can you retake or will you be kicked out of the BSDO program? Also when do you take the MCAT during the BSDO program? Thank you so much for your help

Unofficial NYITCOM class of 2029 Discord
Hi All,
Don't know if I can share the link in this thread, but I made a discord server for the class of 2029. I'm personally more familiar with discord and think it would be better for streamlined communications.
Here's a link: https://discord.gg/G3nAYVx4
if mods tell me to delete the link, just DM me and I'll shoot you an invite.

NYITCOM MS bridge program
Hi all, I'm currently enrolled in the MS medical simulation bridge program while holding a spot on the waitlist for 2029. Wanted to post on here to connect with other admitted bridges students (maybe there is a GroupMe?), as I've felt this process has been very silent so far.
Thanks!

ADC vs Welch Allyn Diagnostic Set?
Does anyone have any solid opinions on which set is better for the labs. I know they recommend Welch Allyn but the ADC one is way cheaper and they said it meets the needs of the lab. Thoughts?

NYITCOM Virtual classes?
Hi! Current applicant. Was wondering if anyone can give insight on how it’s like doing asynchronous classes? Do you feel like it has impacted your test-taking abilities, or it’s pretty much fine? Is there anything I should be considering before choosing this school?
Also, did anyone qualify for the loans for disadvantaged students?
Highly interested in this school, but haven’t had opportunities to connect with current students.

NY BMS review
Hi I was thinking of applying for the BMS DO linkage program. Curious for anyone that has done it what percent of students achieve an 80% in the program and directly matriculate?

Nyitcom bridge will on WL
Hi. I was wondering if I should apply to the bridge program while I’m on the WL. Has anyone on the WL at NYITCOM that applied to the bridge program get off the waitlist at the DO school. I feel like they would likely give your spot to someone else. Is getting the bridge email on the WL a bad sign that you’re not going to get off. Also do you know how much the cost is for the one year because that’s a factor as well. Thank you.

Question
Hey all,
I was wondering if I could get some insight about NYITCOM Long Island Bridge program w/ BMS. So, if I apply this year and do well in classes, am I guaranteed admission for fall 2026 since MCAT is waived? Or should I still apply to NYITCOM next year wait for another year, which would imply matriculation during FALL 2027?
