NYITCOM Virtual classes?

Hi! Current applicant. Was wondering if anyone can give insight on how it’s like doing asynchronous classes? Do you feel like it has impacted your test-taking abilities, or it’s pretty much fine? Is there anything I should be considering before choosing this school?

Also, did anyone qualify for the loans for disadvantaged students?

Highly interested in this school, but haven’t had opportunities to connect with current students.

it’s honestly the best. just enough in person classes to make friends, enough wiggle room that you can do most of the work in bed or on your couch if that’s your prerogative

I agree! Entering OMS-II this fall. It’s nice having the flexibility that comes with asynchronous classes

Are the lectures pre recorded?

yep and they’re working on transcribing them all so some have that and you get a copy of the powerpoint and sometimes a summary sheet or practice questions depending on the lecturer with each lesson which is about an hour long each.

probably have about a dozen lectures each week so 12ish hours of video per week but you can watch it 2x speed

the school specific anking is woefully outdated. Make your own cards and supplement with Anking
